Imagine what Taku could have done in the Brawn last year. The Brawn car was actually the Super Aguri 2009 challenger - SA09. Honda's car had was binned when they took possession of the SA assets, including the car. SA made an old car into a top ten racer and then created the SA09 with Dome, double-diffuser and all. If Toyota had not had a whole department dedicated to preventing Japanese companies from sponsoring SA then Brawn would have been a non-story and Taku a world champion.
I am glad to see him racing again. Takuma Sato should have been the first Japanese driver to win in Formula 1, but just didn't happen. He is too good not to have a ride anywhere and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win at least one race this year, maybe more. Go Takuma!
I love Takuma Sato my favourite F1 driver ever. i was extremely upset when Super Aguri folded in 2008. Sato is a fantastic driver and will always always give his all. I only wish he was still racing in F1 but I will be routing for him in indycar hope the car is competitive and he can win some races.
Great to see a competent Formula One driver come to IndyCar, as opposed to someone like Bernoldi. 9th in the WDC and 3rd in the Japanese Grand Prix in 2004 for BAR-Honda, as team mate to current World Champion Jenson Buton.
