What do you think of John Carpenter's remake of The Thing from Another World called "The Thing"? a brilliant film that does more justice to the original novella that inspired the 1951 version
this and THE THING indeed show how remakes can hold a lot of meaning. lovely stuff.

For some reason, this reminds me of Stan Winston's "Pumpkinhead." I guess it's the distorted guitar in this piece.
