I am still suspicious of Tibet's independence because a very old map drawn by Europeans illustrates that Tibet was part of China around 200 years ago; and the map of Republic of China, which is being used in Taiwan, also recognises Tibet as part of China. Before the brutal chinese communist party invaded independent Tibet 60 years ago there were indentured farmers in Tibet, but NO slaves.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama (HHDL) called a full amnesty (which means freedom for all) before he left the jokhang temple the first time when china invaded Tibet in 1950. So HHDL freed them all.

Six million Tibetans in Tibet have no human rights now so they are really the slaves of the communist party.
