Hard to find a band that plays live as well as they play on their albums. The band may not have great success but at least some of it's members went on to other successful ventures.

@zaenkmus Greg Kihn, 2008 Background information Born July 10, 1949 (age 61) Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. Genres Rock Occupations Musician, radio personality, novelist Instruments Vocals, guitar Years active 1976–present Labels Beserkley Records, CleanCuts Records Associated acts The Greg Kihn Band Website gregkihn.com We just wish Greg Kihn was Canadian.
A voice that transcends time - truly remarkable. He was Prism. Like other great voices, he only needed session musicians really, his voice still rocks.
April Wine, Red, Rider, Rush, Our Lady Peace, Helix, Headpins, Steppenwolf, Neil Young, Anvil, BTO, Big Sugar, Big Wreck, Moxy Fruvous, Coney Hatch, The Guess Who, Saga, Sloan, Downchild Blues Band, Matthew Good Band, Killer Dwarfs, Offenbach,
I have the 8 track and numerous cassettes of Prism AND, get this the original VINYL, never played. Man, I'm dating myself. I miss all those great Canadian bands.
lol.. Yah, I went to a Triumph ~ AC / DC show ( with Bon Scott ) back in the day and everybody was shouting at each other in the corridors as we were all leaving. Nobody could hear for anything. Glorious.
How about April Wine... did they get airplay in England? I was reading Slash's biography recently (Guns and Roses) and he cited April Wine as a band he was exposed to in L.A. in the 70's.... Also, he mentioned hanging out with the bass player from Triumph in L.A.... Triump, another great Canadian band. While you're at it, do a Youtube search for "A Foot in Cold Water Make me do Anything You Want".... another great Canadian 70's band/song.... thanks for noticing!
Good live rendition of this, but what the hell do they need with the damn horns??? They're a kick ass rock-n-roll band, not fucking Chicago or Steely Dan. Shit....
Dang! Tabak had the chops!
