I came out of a bad break up, lost a friend. Cruel Melody and this song is all I listened to for awhile, then I got over the girl, but she kept taunting me by going out with my friends, so I dedicated a song Oildale (Leave me alone) and ever since she left me alone. So don't underestimate a songs true potential until you get lost in it. Wes Borland thanks for the tunes.

the memories I have of when Cruel Melody came out and I would sit on the steps at the fountian by EJ Thomas Hall at the University of Akron out here in Ohio and just listen to the last three songs on Cruel Melody and sometimes I'll go back and listen to this too, trying to figure out my fucking life....i can't even put into words
