In the Danger Dogz online cmpn a couple of yrs ago, we started skip bombing armed ships, including heavies, by attacking from the stern or bow, in line. I was one of three 110s that skip bombed a king G V BB after three of us hit him. Number 4 was a spare adn pulled off. We were all undamaged. It always worked well.

Yeah, it s easy with an P-40, but how can you do that with an Il-2T or a Beaufighter or any torpedo bomber?? i don t see many p-40 s attacking ships ..

@FlosHore After finding a good patch and installing the IL2 will not start completely. It starts the splash screen and then shuts down . I'm back down to uninstalling everything and not using the patch at all; back to where I started . Any clues , let me know ....thanks...

@IcyScythe u take the timer down to 0 seconds lmao anyhow skiping bombs and coming dead on to a ship real low sounds retarded UD BE DEAD MEAT MY FRIEND, i sugest u practice high altitude bombing its notthat hard at all after some practice iv hit big ships from 10000 feet bout 3000 meters smaller ships are ok to try and do the bombskip of the water, but even then why get close ? smaller ships are hit very good from about 2000meters :)

Heres how I do it (I DO NOT RECOMEND IT)

Come in 10 ft above the water at full speed, at this speed and hight you can skip bomb him (like a stone on a pound) as soon as you let go, pull up and start rolling. get back up to about 100 feet and roll level, then start the "S" Technique.

wouldn't it be theoretically better to just dive bomb the ship along its length, that way the actual AA fire should be minimized since it cannot really fire its guns other than as a part of it's "broadside" on either side, and traversing the guns at extremely high angles should be harder?

any maneuver at low level for me is splash due to stall

when i lose altitude its impossible for me to regain altitude

dont matter if im in easy mode

i just play the game to crash

funny thing i can land on a carrier like a walk in the park

Just try to ease on the stick.

Gaining altitude needs time for some planes (somewhere about 220-240km/h is great for climbing).

On Easy, just put throttle 110% because the overheat difficult is off.

And yea, landing in a carrier is easy, just a bit harder than normal landings

i did. i dive bombed a carrier using a dauntless with a 1600 lb bomb and i had unlimited ammo so i just kept dropping. it killed the ship =P
