nolan should have made some changes. two-face didn't have enough screen time. the explosion should have been his last part. this scene should have been played right before the credits started or after the credits ended. this way, two-face would have been in the 3rd film, we'd get to see more of him and his evil deeds, and people would be anxious to see how harvey dent looked as two-face. just like in batman begins, people were anxious to see joker when gordan displayed joker's calling card.

The importance of his progression in this film is to show that the Joker could take Gotham's White Knight and turn him into something ugly, whereas Gotham's Dark Knight is incorruptible. Ironically the vigilante is more admirable in the end than the District Attorney.

Besides Havey was porteayed as more of a trajic hero (not typical villian) in this movie, you end it with him burning and you lose that. You'd also lose Harvey dying a hero (in the eye's of the public) and Batman becoming a villian. Nolan made the right choice dude.

SPOILER ALERT The Joker wanted to prove that even the finest of heroes can fall. His story is very simple and not enough to be the main focus of another movie. Instead, he is just a fallen hero in the end, and his life ends shortly after we see what he has become. It's not as much Two-Face's story as it is Harvey Dent's story.

Actually, in being fair to the severity of his face and neck, those were 6th degree burns. However, the injuries he sustained were clearly unrealistic, as a 6th degree burn renders to be fatal.

And plus in the movie, they left it hanging. Joker was left hanging in the movie (truly was hanging and arrested). Two face fell off the building two stories. So it is a possibility they joker and two face will return. and batman becomes the villain and riddler may make and appearance.

yes twoface did surive the only reason they had a funeral was because the good side of him was dead. The ending of the movie staid true to the comic. Batman is not your average super hero. He doesn't have any super powers he is just a normal human. He is the outcast
This was an excellent move by Nolan. Not giving a direct implication to whether or not Two Face died will have people voicing their opinion for years. The reason TDK was so big is that it was in the spotlight for 1 1/2 years, and it was given so much time to be publicized. When it did come out, there was already so much talk about the movie, tickets were being bought up like stock. Now, people will be discussing whether Dent died or not, already publicizing the 3rd before it has been made!
I just did, and it raises several very good points. His villain selection was also very well done, ridiculous villains like Freeze and Poison Ivy are unlikely for this series. Black Mask I wouldn't hold as a primary villain, but it wouldn't hurt to show him, just for the sake of seeing the mask.
when he was about to die he said "lets test my own fate" and just before he got thrown out of the window he flicked the coin, and after he hits the ground you see it landing heads (the clean side)

I think that it is the riddler actually.
And they might replace heath with someone else as the joker. and two-face isn't really dead. He just fell two stories in the movie. People could survive that. And plus in the movie, they left it hanging. Joker was left hanging in the movie (truly was hanging and arrested). Two face fell off the building two stories. So it is a possibility they joker and two face will return. and batman becomes the villain and riddler may make and appearance.

the series ended perfectly, if Nolan were as smart as people say TDK was the last movie.

yes twoface did surive the only reason they had a funeral was because the good side of him was dead. The ending of the movie staid true to the comic. Batman is not your average super hero. He doesn't have any super powers he is just a normal human. He is the outcast

This was an excellent move by Nolan. Not giving a direct implication to whether or not Two Face died will have people voicing their opinion for years. The reason TDK was so big is that it was in the spotlight for 1 1/2 years, and it was given so much time to be publicized. When it did come out, there was already so much talk about the movie, tickets were being bought up like stock. Now, people will be discussing whether Dent died or not, already publicizing the 3rd before it has been made!

I just did, and it raises several very good points. His villain selection was also very well done, ridiculous villains like Freeze and Poison Ivy are unlikely for this series. Black Mask I wouldn't hold as a primary villain, but it wouldn't hurt to show him, just for the sake of seeing the mask.
