Many white Europeans & white Americans of the 18th century wrongly took advantage of Africans by using them as slaves, this was a very high form of racism, it is nowhere near justifiable but I ask, how many of you here eat meat? and I ask you is it justifiable to take advantage of other species simply because they're less intelligent?
A pig maybe 4 or 5 times less intelligent but simply because they understand things less doesn't mean they suffer any less. where is the justice? where?
@Jsnowboard animals eating other animals for survival is justified, but doing it for pleasure can't as easily be justified and locking them up in factory farms, feeding them growth hormones, cutting their balls off, exc. is not natural. That's the sort of thing that I have a problem with. I feel free-range farming probably can be justified but factory farming is truly exploitation and involves an immense amount of suffering for the animals.
