You don't want this chart, it's horribly synced and overcharted. It's also a Frets On Fire conversion, so there are strums where there should be Hammer-Ons/Pull-Offs and vice-versa.

Guitar Hero is coming out with a re-record of Dueling Banjos from the guy who gave us GH3'S Devil Went Down To Georgia, you should probably stick with that.

Buttons are what makes Videogames what they are. And thats why Videogame-fans buy it. It's about getting a high score just like in Pac-man or other Videogames. And everyone who likes the concept of score-based games likes that game. The Background isn't important. It's only there to fill the screen.

I'm not saying the game isn't valid or even entertaining, I'm just saying that I dont understand it's hype level, or the fact that so many people have shelled out hard cash for it and all the expensive bulky peripherals that go with it.

If you're told what you have to do (which buttons you have to press) the game becomes very based on skill. This makes it very suitable for competitive play. And the periphals are just there so it's more comfortable to play.

Yep, it would play the same. And there are Guitar Hero games made by one person (not the Graphics but all the charts). But these facts aren't arguments against a game. If someone likes the type of competitive and cooperative play Guitar Hero offers, it's worth buying. If you don't personally like the gameplay, you don't buy it. And many people just happened to like that kind of gameplay and have enough money to buy it.
