ive got advice for the dumbass playing this. Bring. Your. Troops. Back. To. Ur. Base. u need to have all ur troops toghether or one group will be cut off and be massacred.

Vehicles, aircraft & hell-bringers(flamethrowers) should be your units of choice when combating the flood. Spartans are always a nice addition, though.

I'm not sure about ODSTs. I would think that their suits are sealed, since they're Orbital Drop Shock Troops after all, but for game-play's sake they most likely can be infected.

In Halo 3, if you still have some ODSTs during The Covenant level, when the Flood show up, the ODSTs can be infected.

they have the sealed suit but are not as "good" as spartans but aare better than marines... they do get infected if sheilds go down though,

There is no such thing as a flood hunter. Those are called Flood Tank Forms. And since Hunters are just a colony of worms they can't be infected.

why do you even bother using infantry against flood? Flood kills infantry non-stop. Use warthogs and tanks.
