Ironic that the some of the people who like Galloway have just voted tory (Galloway is a socialist while the Tories are right wing). People have no idea what each party stands for, they just vote for whoever the Sun tells them to (Labour in 97, 01, 05 and tory in 2010)
@DaleisTankRid I completely agree. Seems like a case of "red team or blue team", no ones knows their policies, as evidently there now all the same- mass media sheep
Sorry, but how can anyone take George Galloway seriously?
I don't see him as a legitimate politician, or even as a legitimate poltical pundit. He lost all of his credibility when he went on a celebrity reality T.V. show. He also showed himself to be a brash bully in the process. These, to me at least, seem like the actions of someone who merely craves the limelight - which render his political opinions as superficial and lacking substance.
@Deadheaddead i guess this is what we must cling to in order to find someone who has a different opinion to the main stream. There is no real political oposition anymore
I don't think many people will feel sympathy for the guy, looking at the state of things then and now. But, he has had his place in history and he's probably doing the right thing for his party now.
"a smile like the brass plate on a lid of a coffin" - ha! reminiscent of benjamin disraeli's comment on gladstone (of all people). but yeah, galloway knows what he's talking about - one of the most talented & brilliant politicians of our generation (if there ever was one); thus a reliable commentator on GB's lack of political empathy. i will certainly be voting labour, although it's sad that most people are more concerned with form (cameron, clegg) rather than content (brown).
A new study of official Government statistics by think tank Migrationwatch has revealed that Britains population is to hit 70 million well within 25 years.
Even if the birth rate were to drop to levels not seen for 100 years the UK population is almost bound to hit 70m within 25 years unless there is a dramatic cut in immigration levels, Migrationwatch said in its new report.
NEW LABOUR - RUBBING BRITAIN'S NOSE IN NEO-MARXIST SH*T! (CONCEPT SINGLE 20)
Because if you want your national borders porous (despite we being an island), your paedophiles pampered and your Christmasses banned, then VOTE LABOUR!
but it's not just Gordon that's a hopeless failure, it's the entire Labour approach
it was always going to end like this, right from the day in 1997 when this country gave these Labour morons another chance to run, and ruin, this country
Their greatest achievement has been to subvert our democracy with the Common Purpose cooperative. John Prescots secretary,Julia Middleton started the UK arm of the Staminist Common Purpose and it has expanded into EVERY sphere of Government and Society. They are a charity that meets and teaches under Chatham House rules-secrecy. They receive millions in taxpayers money, nobody knows about them but they are the ruling force now.
Wow, sounds like he knows Gordon Brown as well as he knew Saddam. I wonder if Gordon also buys him nice presents. I am not qualified to say as like most English people I am tainted by our corrupted media but shouldnt he have been hanged as a traitor? How come he is commenting on the prime minister. hmm 2 traitors together, we could have a double hanging.
Unfortunately TV has been the undoing of G Brown. And that's a real shame. It's ironic that the point is made so well by the overly blessed with telegenic type personality & confidence MR GG. But I don't always agree with GG either. And as for being screwed up, GG believes in God.
I agree with you. His treatment in the media has been akin to a witchhunt. I think he is an essentially decent human being. He has never used health problems or personal tragedy for political ends unlike come others. A Tory victory at the next election is not a formality though!
@ignaciosanmon . i have no sympathy for him at all. . He has destroyed miillions of lives and made countless more miserable. He cares not a jot about introducing long term damaging policies as long as he clings to power. Can't wait to see this tosser kicked out on 7th May. GW could'nt have summed him better.
@Bellalodicci9 : Brown was a social misfit who, like all misfits, regarded himself as the greatest intellectual of all time. You can almost imagine him wondering why the world is full of lesser people who seem to have been put on earth just to annoy him and frustrate his grand vision. I think Galloway was spot on, here.

If Brown had even half the intellect of Galloway he would be an elected PM as I now type (Thank God not!).
If Galloway had even half the power that Brown has just thrown away then George really would be dangerous!
