But seriously you can dismiss the theory that it was built for airborne people, because its so much work to be seen only once or twice. Religion or art seems most likely. It was probably made by board teenagers. I did stuff like that when I was a kid, but mine looked more like the Scottish giant.

@Chakdegirl Well, if a civilization is advanced enough so as to pursue leisure and fun in their art, then certainly we would know about it - the first comic depiction comes from ancient Athens, and it's an owl dressed as a hoplite, drawn on a pot for satyrical purposes.
