-superburrito--Uhh Ok, When George W. Bush is NOT collecting a pay check from the Soudi Royal family (i.e. supporting terrorists), than you can tell people like myself that 9/11 was someone else's fault besides your hero. (By the way, holding your leaders accountable IS doing something constructive.) God Bless!
It is well known that the Bush's are "friends" with the Saudis. SO WHAT! Are you saying that the Saudis oil shieks are to blame for all this bullshit? Well, by the looks of gas prices...perhaps. Maybe a "deal" was made who knows. BUT. The oil refineries in Saudi Arabia were build by U.S contractors/oil companies and are run by mostly u.s personnel. THEY are the ones controlling oil prices.
the only reason why Bush didn't have "free speech zones" this time around is because Monticello keepers wanted nothing to do with protestors getting arrested for expressing their concerns for their country. If this was anywhere else those protestors would have been arrested, Lets not forget the couple last year who got arrested for wearing anti Bush tee shirts,on the fourth at a Bush appearence they had to hear Bushs speech about freedom from JAIL!! God help America WAKE UP!
(patsagainstrats) What planet are you from.... seriously? Because I am 100% certian that you are NOT 100% of any particular race. You might be 100% ignorant, but not much else. I will pray for you. God Bless!
Sure there were, but we're talking about vicious slave master, Thomas Jefferson. And unlike George Washington, Jefferson even failed to free his slaves upon his death.
BTW, did know that Obama's spirtual advisor, Jeremiah Wright, has declared Jefferson a "pedophile?"
What Andrew Jackson represents to the Native Americans, Jefferson reprsents to African-Americans--atrocity.
There is so much wrong with America that replacing Bush won't change much. OK he's an idiot and a war criminal but Obama has moved so far to the right, it'll be hard to tell their policies apart. Hell, Obama now wears a bigger lapel pin than Bush.

Rude and classless. Regardless of what you might think about our president, speech is only free until you deny someone else's free speech. Hopefully they were arrested and tossed in jail for the day.
Give me a BREAK! Bush is a public figure making a public speech; it doesn't superceed anyone's free speech to protest him. He's a disgusting excuse for a human being, and I'm only upset that they weren't the ones with microphones.
LOL.. who said I was liberal? second... IF some one calls another person a Disgusting excuse for a human being .. im sure you would call them on there lack of class... looks up .. oh wait .... no you didnt ... grow up ... move on
....and exactly the same level of Bush apoligist idiocy I've come to expect.
Code Pink (who I myself consider to be "out there") is simply doing something Constitutionally guaranteed - petitioning for a redress of grievances. If you believe Thomas Jefferson has a ghost, he was smiling down on those women.
And how is that impeachment coming??
As well as you you expect for any act that would make Dick Cheney POTUS. They're not fools!
Sorry, _jurbinsky77_, but BushCo was NEVER elected: the Reich-wing packed SCOTUS APPOINTED them the winners of the election, and curtailed the re-count that would have given the win to Al Gore. Look it up... And while I'm not enthusiastic about Obama, I KNOW we don't need an emotionally disfigured torture-survivor like John McCain, who is perpetually angry, and dangerously unstable. If I had my 'druthers, I'd want Dennis Kucinich as president. He is for the People, and has never wavered in that.
As of 1999, I knew that Bush was not the right candidate for the US presidency, and you re-elected him nonetheless, in 2004. Now that the elections is barely 4 months, you want this rigmarole of "impeachment". The Dems cannot do anything while they are in majority because they are too busy attacking each other or making sure that Obama will be the next president whatever the ominous sign that comes under Obama's name.
Yeah, George W. Bush, I know you believe in free speech as long as you are still making money off of innocent blood being spilt for no good reason. Great job TRYING to portray yourself as an American. Too bad you can't portray yourself as a real human being. I will continue to pray for your soul. God Bless your arrogant self!
Bush can discuss his ideas about free speech to the rather quiet torture victims at guantanamo and the "security" zones around most of his crap spewing sessions
They only beat the shit out of protesters when they cross the line. Stop assuming that police are trying to infringe on your freedom when it could be in fact your the one to blame.
Not impeaching Bushco. IS the failure of the constitution. It's time for widespread civil disobedience: Storm the corporate media and take it back! Throw your bodies into the machine!
There is just one problem: Sweden's and Norway's policies are not considered socialist at all. You need to see the difference between socialism and left-of-center policies.
Sweden is an export-oriented market economy. Sweden has always provided solid support for free trade (except agriculture), free immigration, and strong property rights. Sweden is a mixture of constitutional monarchy, in which King Carl XVI Gustaf is head of state, but royal power has long been limited to official and ceremonial functions, and parliamentary dictatorship. I'm sorry but do you even know what socialism even is?
Jombo, just because there is a socialist and communist party in Sweden does not mean the country is automatically a socialist nations. There is a socialist party in the US too. Does that makes the US communist? In the past 2006 elections it only managed to get 34.99 % of the votes. Again that does not mean Sweden is socialist.

Bush is NOT collecting a pay check from the Soudi Royal family (i.e. supporting terrorists), than you can tell people like myself that 9/11 was someone else's fault besides your hero. (By the way, holding your leaders accountable IS doing something constructive.) God Bless!

JCLIVZ,
It is well known that the Bush's are "friends" with the Saudis.

No! That is Bush outsourcing jobs!

the only reason why Bush didn't have "free speech zones" this time around is because Monticello keepers wanted nothing to do with protestors getting arrested for expressing their concerns for their country. If this was anywhere else those protestors would have been arrested, Lets not forget the couple last year who got arrested for wearing anti Bush tee shirts,on the fourth at a Bush appearence they had to hear Bushs speech about freedom from JAIL!! God help America WAKE UP!

Well, technically, if Jefferson were still alive, he'd have Obama arrested for fleeing the plantation.

Well, technically, there were free blacks even at the time of the American Revolution.
So - technically - you're a moron and a disgrace to the United States of America.
FreshCliches 3 years ago
Sure there were, but we're talking about vicious slave master, Thomas Jefferson. And unlike George Washington, Jefferson even failed to free his slaves upon his death.
BTW, did know that Obama's spirtual advisor, Jeremiah Wright, has declared Jefferson a "pedophile?"
What Andrew Jackson represents to the Native Americans, Jefferson reprsents to African-Americans--atrocity.
patsagainstrats 3 years ago
There is so much wrong with America that replacing Bush won't change much. OK he's an idiot and a war criminal but Obama has moved so far to the right, it'll be hard to tell their policies apart. Hell, Obama now wears a bigger lapel pin than Bush.

Sad, huh? The only people who applaud Bush these days are those who haven't yet become Americans... Wait till they experience the HELL that comes with having a leader who is both evil AND a moron.

evil and moron are opinions. That's why your bellyaching falls on deaf ears. How's that impeachment coming? lol

Rude and classless. Regardless of what you might think about our president, speech is only free until you deny someone else's free speech. Hopefully they were arrested and tossed in jail for the day.
jameskc61 3 years ago
Give me a BREAK! Bush is a public figure making a public speech; it doesn't superceed anyone's free speech to protest him. He's a disgusting excuse for a human being, and I'm only upset that they weren't the ones with microphones.

How's life in that 20 percent?

Sorry, _jurbinsky77_, but BushCo was NEVER elected: the Reich-wing packed SCOTUS APPOINTED them the winners of the election, and curtailed the re-count that would have given the win to Al Gore. Look it up... And while I'm not enthusiastic about Obama, I KNOW we don't need an emotionally disfigured torture-survivor like John McCain, who is perpetually angry, and dangerously unstable. If I had my 'druthers, I'd want Dennis Kucinich as president. He is for the People, and has never wavered in that.
GuinnevereB 3 years ago 2
Impeach now? You elected him.

And made by people who don't know the difference between Socialism and totalitarianism.
JimboTHC 3 years ago 3
There is just one problem: Sweden's and Norway's policies are not considered socialist at all. You need to see the difference between socialism and left-of-center policies.
TheAntiV 3 years ago
I was born in Sweden, visit often and I'm very proud of Sweden's socialism.
JimboTHC 3 years ago 2
Sweden is an export-oriented market economy. Sweden has always provided solid support for free trade (except agriculture), free immigration, and strong property rights. Sweden is a mixture of constitutional monarchy, in which King Carl XVI Gustaf is head of state, but royal power has long been limited to official and ceremonial functions, and parliamentary dictatorship. I'm sorry but do you even know what socialism even is?
TheAntiV 3 years ago
Ever hear of The Swedish Socialist Democratic Party? Or The Christian communist party of Sweden?
Until you post a picture of yourself The Riksdag stop pasting shit out of the Wikipedia
and acting like a expert on my homeland.
And congrats to the Swedish Housing Authority (state ran housing) on building the largest condominium complex in Europe last week.
JimboTHC 3 years ago 3
Jombo, just because there is a socialist and communist party in Sweden does not mean the country is automatically a socialist nations. There is a socialist party in the US too. Does that makes the US communist? In the past 2006 elections it only managed to get 34.99 % of the votes. Again that does not mean Sweden is socialist.
