If not, take a look at the MSI 790XT-G45 if you want DDR2 or at the ASUS Evo Series for DDR3.

Unlock?...The 940 is a black edition with unlocked multipliers. Just OC it in BIOS.

3.8 Ghz on the stock cooler but temps. were at a dangerous zone so I upgraded to a Hyper 212 with a push and pull configuration. It's currently clocked at stock because every time I try to overclock it even by a little, it BSOD's and restarts on random.

Probably something with BIOS but I might upgrade to an Asus EVO board.

Currently Intel CPU's are better than any AMD offering, they perform better and have more cache which makes a big difference in gaming and applications. The AMD offerings are still great CPUS's but Intel currently has the performance crown.

It´s a lot more expensive, my X3 720 runs at 3.5GHz 24/7 and that´s not even the highest clock, I tried 3.8Ghz and it was stable at 1.5V, but my graphicscard holds back the cpu so it´s at 3.5GHz now.

I get 50fps in GTA IV benchmark everything on High and all sliders to 100, @1680*1050

The Black Edition has unlocked multipliers for easier overclocking. I underclocked not from the stock settings. The stock settings was 3.0ghz. I overclocked it to 3.6ghz and now downclocked it to 3.41ghz due to high temps. This might not apply to one so don't be worried too much.
