It's 0.5mm lead wire - the diameter depends on final weight of the nymph. I flattened the end of the wire. Further I used monofilament 0.12mm, brown latex stripe (matt side up), gold colored wire, some light and dark synthetic seal furs and a 10 size hook.
:o) Yes, it's very useful. After I create the dubbing brush I can simply remove the flywheel and easily form the fly body. Also it was VERY cheap :o)))
