  • the second one looks like a links helicopter

  • @luisaviation. Lol, The second one IS a Lynx. Not links.

  • looks heavy and unstable.

  • @baronofhawkland how come you tell, because of the rotors?

  • It's rocking left and right ever so slightly. this is a common problem with heavy lift helicopters. Since you need immense power to lift the thing, the output produced by the rotors can cause vibrations which can become a serious problem. This is usually counteracted with a suspension system, like the ones on CH-53's. But this limits control speed. That's why CH-47 was designed as a tandem chooper. You wanna keep the rotors small.

  • @baronofhawkland. Do you know anything about helicopters? Because the Lynx AW159 hovering in this video is as stable as they go.

  • @mr9396 You will never see rocking that hard on an MD500 family or if you wanna go big, Co-axial Kamovs are as stable as they get. The super stallion was designed as carrier based, meaning to withstand high winds. You can easily find vids of CH-53 taking off in a wind storm like it was a modest fart.

Do you know anything about Helos? cuz it sounds like to me that you're just trying to have a piss race. I have better shit to do than argue on the internet with an Agusta fan boy.

  • At 1.17 the windsack shows no wind at all so it seems that 159 has some problems in hovering...
