Ok chief first slow down you are starting out getting speed when you don't need to. It also appears and sounds like your in 2nd gear. Wrong don't do that it forces you to use more power than you need to get the bike up and produces more speed which you don't want. NEVER EVER YANK OR PULL UP ON YHE BARS it just throws the control point out of whack.
@FQVINC007 more like a first gear wheelie around the fifty mph mark. if you are going to do it first gear on that bike go between 35 and 45. 2nd gear 45 to 65 ish. 3rd. 45 to 55. you can also use rebound of the forks to give to help you come up so you can lay down on the rpms a little. also in 2nd and third it is easier to put you feet on the back pegs, it'll help you find balance point. now i know most ppl like to keep a foot on the rear brake. i would until i got use to it coming up. good luck
Hope it's going well - I know It requires a lot more practice than I thought it would, and it doesn't help seeing all the epic wheelie-monsters on youtube! stay safe.
@duodust1 really?? are you fucking serious?? oh yea i forgot that stunters power up wheelies and they manage to go about 3 mph...i wonder how they do that
@frostyisag10 stunter use a different sprocket set up usually aroudn a 60 tooth back sprocket where a stock sprocket is in low forties depend on year of the bike
@jjrockett22 i was being sarcastic. i'm really good friends with plenty of stunters. i was just saying that stunters don't do power ups. they clutch up and have their idle set really high so its easier to get to and remain in balance point
seems like you need a little more throttle off the clutch, i know it feels scary trust me i know but all the weights at the front of the bike. i see that you giving gas as soon as it pops up but you should try pulling harder on the way up as pop the clutch... try a little it more throttle and then apply a little more till you get comfortable. deflate the bike tire to about 25psi which will give you more stability if that doesnt work change the gearing +1 , -2 of get or get a 12' bar....
nice video - good job practicing in a parking lot instead of on the street, but at the end of your video, i don't think you should do those "high speed" runs through that area with trees on either side... if u were to crash... it would not be fun to get smashed up against one of those trees @ high speed.
Hey good vids bro. Keep practicing and you'll be up on one in no time. I dont' know if you've seen any of Downshift83's videos but you should watch them, he has the exact same bike and the videos are very helpful. Helped me get started and now i can wheelie just fine!
take it easy man that a sexy bike

@duodust1 Ummmmmm...you're kidding right? You realize that professional stunters don't power wheelie, they clutch up, right?
