Yeah man, it's cool if you think differently. At first I thought H2 and H3 were very disappointing, but I grew on them since I enjoy the universe. To this day, H2 is average and H3 was a good game, but I didn't like how it was hyped to be the H1 in 07 when it wasn't. ODST is by far the best Halo game Bungie has to offered to this date. They did a lot of polishing with the campaign and brought back a lot of stuff from CE (Plasma Rifle, Pistol, Health Packs, and it was just great.

There's many reasons why Halo is big. Weather it's the great controls, gameplay, graphics, bringing machnima to popularity etc. Halo is great because FPS games like Goldeneye and Medal of Honor which were exclusives weren't really up to par compared to PC FPS games which were more complicated and PC fps games pretty much featured more "higher quality" on its setting. Halo was very complex for a console exclusive. The AI was amazing, and it basically felt like a PC FPS game.

yeah, i agree with you. The AI is one of the things that really brings the game to life. Even if u revert checkpoints, the elites act differently, or sometimes, the console subs in a different kind of elite (red instead of blue).

To me, everything about Halo 1 is amazing, even the little details, like the snipe sound of the sniper rifle.

haha , I know. It's funny, but he just stood beside the metal barrier and didn't attack. I emptied like more than 2 rounds of needle fire, then recorded the screen to videotape it cause I thought it was a glitch... I needled him once on accident and he just... died. It was the luckiest recordest clip ever.. or almost teh luckiest.

Yes. I wish I could still play but my controler is busted. (Both of them). I guess taking them around to friends places to beat them at their own game and violent button mashing took a toll on them. I should get a new one, my Xbox just gathers dust along with the PS2.

yeah u should. they're prolly mighty cheap now. I played halo 1 with my friends on xbox 360 and they were real mad at me cuz I was annoying them by sticking them. We never played it again :(. I guess I can't relive the old days with them... it was just too competitive for us. that's why we play noob games like COD (don't get me wrong. amazing game, but it's so darn easy to kill ppl) 4 and 5. Ah, whatever. Atleast PWNALLdotcom is trying to bring back halo 1 again.

Halo is very competitive though. Ha! I remember my friend bragging about training on legendary mode for a week (I hadn't played for a long time), he invited me over and I beat him 9 - 1, only game I lost was the warm up round. Good times, I remember when Xbox was first released and I just used to watch. The Library is still my favorite level. I want to play right now, gah! In conclusion classic games will always be the best, new games are nice too but you can't replace good memories. :b

yup I love it to death. my most memorable prts were when we first saw the flood and the maw cutscene and my fav lvls would be AOTCR and T and R. Gotta love that sniper rifle, it was the best in Halo 1.

lol both camera and high settings. My multiplayer vids (coming soon) are recorded with 30 fps and low settings, so the vid won't be as choppy.

Resistance 2 is too CODish. It's not gonna work and you don't have as much freedom compared to Resistance: Fall of Man. And yeah I saw the HL videoes, they're awesome too. Sadly, I remembered one of em got their sound pulled off by YT.

An awesome way to tribute the great Mike Miller. I mean I remembered seeing Halo Legend for the first time and it was awesome. I always like to play "Mike Miller Style" on Halo: Ce and Resistance: Fall of Man at times. You should make another one someday. I mean Halo: Ce is the best game to perform stunts.

just a regular brand, but it's new. Compaq Presario, comes with 250 gb hard drive and I added 2.5 gb RAM (that's what u need to play the game really fast, not to mention a good enough grapihcs card, I have a nvidia graphics card. it came wit the PC.)

get a new desktop pc. most of the new ones are good. Just make sure the ram is at least 2 GB and has at least a nvidia graphics card 6800 or 8800, or better or an ati radeon graphics card. If not,m just change video settings and set detail level or whtever to low. That's what i do sometimes.

I actually like the assault rifle in this game though, it sounds and feels like firing a light automatic cannon. In 3 i have to admit, it's crap though. The Assault Rifle was just made too common, much like the SMG in 2.
