Hi my name is Elena I turned 35, 4 days ago. Can I get your number? I know what your feeling. When I had 28 I was diagnose with MG and now I am 35. I had ups and down like so bad that I almost died a couple of time. breathing problems severe weakness. on June 1 this yr i decided to get my thymectomy done. WOW it was a pretty nice experience. right now my wound are healing good but doctor told my not to lift anything heavy. I cant drive for 4 yrs now. Today i feel difference in my body STRENGHT.
I love you Maria & I am so proud of you for being brave enough to talk about your disease with the world. I'm sure that your videos have helped & will continue to help people that are in the same boat as you. You are an inspiration & I am so grateful to have you as my sister! I know that I can't fully understand what you are going through but you know I am always here if you need to vent about it!
@desiraedevine77 cont.- I promise I will listen & not judge you....ok maybe I will judge you a little bit but only in a good way because I think that you are one of the strongest people I know, you go through so much on a daily basis & you do it all with a smile on your face! I only wish that I could be half as good of a person as you are. Stay strong! One day you will have everything you want in life because you deserve it!

I chose to wait because I was terribly weak and I couldn't fathom the struggle to carry out daily activities for myself & take care of newborn twins at the same time. for me it seemed like a recipe for disaster. I don't know what kind of support you have at home but before you become pregnant I hope that you are physically strong & stable enough to endure a full-term pregnancy.
When I first got diagnosed with MG I became pregnant with twins shortly after. When I told my neurologist about the pregnancy she wasn't happy about it because my CT scan was positive for the thymoma and she wanted it out. She told me that the pregnancy was possible but she wanted to take care of me first without complicating matters further. She told me that after the surgery I would go into remission which would be the best time to plan a pregnancy. Her opinion made sense to me and I waited.
@Takara2006 I wanted to know if you were taking mestinon still while pregnant?
