I am a Kiwi, and it was absolutely gutwrenching hearing the final whistle being blown in this match. But when I watch this I really admire the way SA dug deep in this tournament. Well done Bokke, you will always be the AB's toughest opponents!!

@zflores24 it depends. when i lived in south africa no black person wanted to explain it to me because i was white and felt i couldnt understand. i later found out it essentially was a song about previous times of working in the mines and how you have to push through and encourage others.

I've always hated the spring bokkes, especially when they give the all blacks a run for their money lol. But I must admit I felt a little guilty after watching this film. Because I was cheering the Bokkes in the final lol ..... Great work SOUTH AFRICA

Great. I can imagine it was like that. Good on ya, guys, from NZ. Go Bokke. It is a bit like when we beat France this time. Maybe it was a close game, but the correct team that wanted it won. I backed NZ at 5/1 to win, and had a packet in it. After the game, I was not even upset. I was so pleased for South Africa and Mandella. Francois Pienaar still shows what a great guy he is. He still looks as young as Matt Damon - and a bit like him also!

Looking forward to the 4 nations and the Pumas.

i loved this scene! i don't even like rugby, i like soccer, but such speech was beautiful, and the atmosphere in the stadium was incredible, i related such scene to when my national plays a game and all the crowd and the whole country supports the national team no matter what, and the players (hopefully) always give their best.

We had exactly something like this man, we had to play 11 on 15 becaus the other team did some shit with papers to piss us off but we had a talk / speech / pump up for atleast 1 hour the only thing we did was talk and the spirit in the huddle and room where so fucking great we destroyed the other team 27-0 , i fucking love this sport !

I do not begrudge the Boks their victory. However as I recall the All Blacks were suffering from food poisoning. I think that perhaps if the All Blacks were healthy instead of ill then perhaps the outcome would've been different. I guess we'll never know, at least we have a new WC in September

I remember this game very well in 95 as a kid in NZ. My whole family was gutted when the the ABs lost. We were devastated especially after the 91 world cup, but looking back now it, was one of those very rare games that we would be very glad and happy for the Boks to win.
