@Killerspider762 i just cut it back again for the 4th or 5th time over the last 10 years and it's now sending out new lower traps. they're the biggest ones. i haven't repotted this plant ever and it's growing in a large shallow tray of mud, that's now all filled with roots, covered in moss. the plant is telling me it doesn't want any changes from that so i'll leave it as it is until it says otherwise...
@PhazonSwimmy no, they can last for months like that digesting all the prey they caught. at that stage they usually don't need to catch more with the fancy, nectar demanding top and just let it shrivel. the bottom will have a lot of prey and takes a while to consume completely. you could still feed them
