Well you have my respect! my school made me bash out some copper plate into an ashtray and that was about it. I didn't learn much more until I did my RAF apprenticeship, your ally work is very akin to aircraft repair work. I reckon you ought to have a go at building a home built aircraft. There's a challenge for you?

This is my hobby. School gave me a basic grounding, the rest came from reading books especially Carroll Smith.
