i grew up in elsinore bit moved away in 93 at 14 years old. this place always freaked me out as a kid. its taken this long to see this place. i think about it every now and then. wierd memory from my childhood. ty for the video.

@TheDgkaid1000 she didnt kill herself in the house.. she disappeared and was found on a beach in mexico. she claimed to not recall how she got there. if u go to the musem on mainstreet talk to the old lady that owns it if shes still alive she will tell u the story

@Blo521 Actually, you are getting your stories a little mixed up. She did disappear while swimming at Venice beach in 1926. Here followers thought she had drowned. She showed up in Arizona after supposedly escaping from kidnappers in Mexico. Her shoes showed no signs of a 13 hour walk and the kidnap quarters could not be found. She was put on trial, but not convicted, for perjury. She didn't die until 1944. Aimee overdosed on sleeping pills but it is not known whether it was accidental.

I want to thank you for posting this video. I lived in Lake Elsinore myself from 1986 to 1998. However, my Mother was born and raised there. This great monument is on Skyline Drive for those who want to drive by it. Also up on the opposite end of the hill same hill is the home that Jackie Coogan built for his parents as an abused child actor. It is a huge Bavarian Chalet. It was that home which caused the "Coogan Trials" changing the rules on child actors.
