I really wish this guy did more classical performing cause he's a great pianist with a a great feel and fantastic facilities. Unfortunately, the music that has made him the best selling pianist of all time is childs play technically for someone of his talent. @belialah I wouldn't say clayderman is a terrible piano player. I have a recording of him playing chopin's 1st Concerto and it is by far one of the best versions I have heard. As he grew older, he just preferred this style of music and ran with it. He is still a brilliant classical pianist though, he just prefers to sell this easy listening music, and it's a great way to hook people who don't really understand the more complicated piano pieces into becoming piano fans.

I enjoy the standard renditions of Rhapsody in Blue but I very much like this version. Everyone is entitled to thier own likes and dislikes and their own opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you could also say that it is in the ear of the listener. What one person likes another may think is no good. I like Clayderman's version of Rhapsody in Blue.
