  • @wisnu1231 FSRecorder tower view

  • Nice video man! Good Job! :)

  • Ver Good!!! Video !!! How can you get that Virtual Cockpit? It looks better than the original !!!! see ya

  • I can tell this is a Level-D Boeing 767

  • how long it take u to learn dis game. i find it quite hard.

  • @irvin2cartel I have been playing this game for 12 years! lol It takes a long time to learn but like anything that is difficult at first the rewards are greater.

  • leveld?

  • @pio909 LevelD with a CLS model.

  • @pio909

    which software u using

  • @nketa Microsoft Flight Simulator X

  • @ROBLOXrayan1565 Wrong. This is Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 (2004)

  • Great, as always !

  • nice graphics and landing

  • This is just amazing! very great delails. But i was wondering how did you get to photo real paint these aircrafts! its great!

  • @gryffindorhouse122 Thankyou, to photorealpaint you need very high def side on photos of the aircraft (over 3000 x 2000 pixel) and then a top paint program like Photoshop to painstakingly manipulate the photograph

  • Edward..are all your panels and sounds custom made??

  • @Gregc320 No not all. I do not make engine sound sets. About half of my panels are completely custom made and half are modifications with extra custom bitmaps/gauges.

This particular one is very much the Level D 767 panel with some modifications.

    This edit is not available

  • @edetroit Yes they are very good indeed! Would yyou ever consider uploading them to Flightsim or Svsim??

They are trully brilliantand im dying for an A330/320 cockpit as i have seen in your videos you have one that looks brilliant!

  • @Gregc320 No can do. The Bus cockpits are PSS mods so there is a copyright issue right there for starters.

  • @edetroit Aw ok fair enough.. I must look into that! Are your 737NG's PMDG or custom?

  • @Gregc320 PMDG

  • @edetroit Do you mind if I message you there on UK2000 Forums as I need some help with repainting?? and from what i've seen your are a very good repainter! :)

  • @Gregc320 You can......I am very much a photo real painter. There are hand painters who have greater skills than I.

  • Help!!!!! Does anyone know where i can download AI traffic for Zimbabwean airlines. i have downloaded sceneries for the busier airports and need some traffic to liven them up. kind regards

  • my comp is not powerful enuf to tak the graphics for dubai airport pack man it sucks

  • what sounds are You using for this plane? they are great!

  • Give us a little more of the 762! Quite rare to see...great stuff, Ed!

  • how did u get the amazing airports? with all the features?

  • @TheMSDiver Dubai is payware by Fly Tampa with AES (by Aerosoft)

  • howw do youu get air zimbabwe liverryy

  • @borisl2 I painted it. I will upload it to avsim in a day or two.

  • @edetroit Ohh kwll erm ive tried downloading liverys on avsim but i never can get them on on my fsx could you help me out

  • ed, you do a great job improving your panels and adding those excellent 2D views, have you considered to sell them? or at least share some of them? if so, send me a private message... I wish we could find good tutorials about how to create those panels, and have access to good bitmaps images for the panels and the cockpit views, btw, nice video, loved the landing, looked so real.

  • Hi ed, excelent work, are any of those custom made panels availabe somewhere to download?

  • That was was probably the best landing I have ever seen. keep up the good work and appreciate your representation for a wonderful airline and beautiful country.(ZIM)

  • Always been a fan of your videos! What sound package are you using for the 767?

  • Really nice!

  • u make us proud

  • this is really awesome :O i dont have words for it :O 100000/5!!! btw, where did you get al those briliant panels for your airplanes:O!!!

  • am sure next fligth simulator would look like this

  • Can any1 please tell me wt game this is?

  • FS2004 (Microsoft a Century of Flight)

  • No ...my AI is homemade

  • Looked like a Capt. Dave Henry landing!

  • 1:46 my fav angle

  • I love sitting in front of the engine where u can luke at the turbine

  • people masterbate at your vidios on a frequently basis

  • WTF made u say that

  • Wt the hell!!

  • I would trust you as a 767 PIC.

  • Awesome video Ed. Really good, specially the camera angles. Great work

  • Hey Ed, u should fly online on Vatsim or IVAO, i think u'll like it very much.

  • I just came back from Melbourne, Australia and Bangkok, Thailand. I noticed that Bangkok and Dubai are similar airports. I flew with Thai Airways from LHR of course on a B747 and B777-300. I went on one star alliance Thai B747 on TG911

  • Where do you get your inspiration to fly these routes, aircraft and airline? It all seems a bit random, which I like.

  • I get my inspiration from soooooo many different scources. The main thing is don't think about it ....do it.

  • man it's fantastique.... can we buy you your merge and panel modification ??

  • No, I could not even give it to you. It would be an infringement of Level D 767 copyright.

  • at least can you tell us a webpage or can you do a video where we learn to do those great panels??

  • avsim aircraft and panel design forum.

  • thanks

  • I do use ASV6 for my real weather, the cloud textures from FEX (There is REX for FS9 now though). The sky and water are freeware files I got from avsim.

A great tip I came across recently is increase you cloud draw distance in your FS9 cfg to 12.

  • thanks again!

  • thx ed i will try to improve my fs as yours :D

  • Exellent!!

    one question:

    what are your specs?

  • Win-XP 32bit, FS9.1, Coolermaster Cosmos S ATX, 2 x Zalman 120MM fans , Kingwin Modular 800W, Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 CPU overclocked to 4.0 Ghz per core, 2 x Corsair 2GB PC8500 DDR2, 1000GB HD, IGb Nvidia GTX 285 (186.18 drivers plus NHancer), Creative Labs X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1 Sound Card, Viewsonic VP2130b 21.3" LCD

  • thank you!

And thank you for the quick reply!!

so how many total FPS did you have (while recording)???

  • My FPS are usually 60- 70 fps. I have limited Fraps to 30FPS......which is where it stays.

  • ed you are the man

  • To travel the world via the master picaso! Great vid Ed.

  • Thankyou Jeff!.....I think the next flight is Moscow to Beijing.

  • Wonderful as per usual Ed. Landing was a greaser, too.

Quick question, do you mind telling me how you merged the LDS panel with the CLS model?

  • thanks very good get 5

  • great vid

  • And what about your fabulous 2d side views Ed could you share the 767 ones so I can enhance y lvl D add on?? Would be great send me a pm ;)

  • Nice one, Ed. Another unique route to try out in the sim.

  • Nice video 5/5 Ed!!! I also have a E8600 Could you help me out on how to overclock it to 4.0GHz or give me some directions? I know you can't share your custom made panels but what about your wonderfull 2d side views?? Thx for the great videos and tips you provide in the comments!!

  • The company that built my Rig overclocked my E8600 for me. I have no idea how to do it myself. What I have heard about overclocking is that you also need to upgrade your cooling.

  • your videos keep getting better.

    lovely landing.

  • Great videoI...Do you know how to merge posky 777 with wilco 777 including the 3D cocpit.

  • No idea I'm afraid.

  • THX

  • Why don't use upload your videos in HD instead? Will make them much better ;)

  • Because my monitor is 1600x1200 res.

    4:3 ratio.

My panels are 2D 4:3 ratio

I am happy with my format thankyou.

  • is that the cls 767

  • The model is the CLS 767...the panel is not.

  • Outstanding realism again Ed.

    Best Regards.

    Navigator

  • Great flight Ed! Your piloting skills are like wine; they seem to get better with age.

  • Lol. I know, But its nice though. i love the plane. Easy to fly.

  • Sorry I accidentally erased your previous post.....but I see you got the answer anyway.

  • your panel mods are sick man!!! just awesome!

  • Ed, your videos are amazing. Seen almost all of them. Thank you for putting the effort in making and uploading them.

    Einar

  • Thx ed for reply

do you mean from real aircraft or from the internet?

  • Real aircraft.

  • hi ed

you almost answered to all kind of question but there's one misterious question ?

where did you get your panel bitmap?

if you want to answer me but i know its almost impossible you can send me a pm

thank you ed your really my inspiration

  • I make all my bitmaps from photographs.

  • what a beauty the 767 is?? I sure know someone will be happy to see it flying... President Mugabe...lol

  • The only person on my flight was Mugabe's wife (having done some shopping in Dubai). How very sad and probably true.

    But what a classic livery!

  • Wonderful ED, This is a great video. Matthew Ministry has done a true to life scenery depiction of Harare Intl for Fs9 if you are interested.

  • Thankyou very much for the heads up.

  • have been watching ur videos and they are super..i was wondering if u could make a video on tutorials how to fly from one airport to another. i have tried to learn alot but most tutorials dont help.i just get lost after getting in the sky.any help would be appreciated

  • Hmmm.. all you need really is a real weather engine (I recommend Activesky....but even a def real weather download would be a great help). Find out which runways are active at both dep and arr airports. Then find relevant charts for both airports...work out your SID and STAR. The route between your SID and STAR can be made up if you do not have a RW flightplan.

It is the departure and arrival that maketh the airport.

  • Good movie!!

The windows views come with CLS or is own creation?

    regards

  • Hello Curi, the window views are my own creation

  • how did you merge the level-D VC to the cls 767? I only know how to put the 2D panel, but how did you do the VC?

  • How do you merge LVD panel/VC to CLS 767???

  • I would not know as I do not use VC's in Airliners.

  • Absoluty perfect! 5/5

  • Hey Ed! Great video! Did you buy REX for FS9?

  • Yes, but not used it yet.

  • Very nice, some funny features included. I like the captain speaking to the passengers ;)

Can you tell me your opinion of REX for FS2004? Will you use it instead of FEX?

  • I have bought REX but not installed it yet. I think REX 2004 would be a great addition for someone who had not tweaked their sim soooo much. I am happy with my water, runway tex, sky and clouds. I use ASV 6.5 as my weather engine.

If I use any of REX it will be cloud textures. I recently came across a tip that really enhanced my sim though. Cloud Coverage Density from 8 to 12 in FS9.CFG

  • Thank you, as I did not own something similar for FS9 before (except Real Environment Professional) I bought REX and I am really happy with it. It was a good decision of Tim Fuchs and his team to release REX for FS9 as well.

I forgot to ask you how you manage your TODs. When flying the PMDG 737NG for example I always get to the TOD before MS ATC tells me to descend. Do you simply ignore your FMC and start descending by ATC instructions only?

  • I do what FS ATC tells me. Remember I do not do vectors.....I always ask for the approach via transitions. In this case FS ATC asked me to descend before my FMS so I did (just make the descent a little shallow both will match soon enough). If FSATC is late I ask it to start my descent.

  • I see. You ask them something like 'Decrease crusing altitude by 10,000ft'.

  • Yes, it gives them a chance to catch up with you........doesn't alway work mind. lol

  • Thank you, I will try it on my next flight.

BTW thank you for your support, you resond to nearly every single comment. Looking forward to your next video.

  • where is the FS9.CFG file?

  • Google you exact question....you will find all the answers for all systems.

  • well done edetroit on the video

  • is that a Level-D_767

  • The panel/airfile is basically LVLD 767...the model by CLS.

  • hey do you use a joystick??

  • I use CH Products Yoke and Rudder pedals. I consider both essential. (the rudder pedals have toe braking as well)

  • Great video! 5 stars!

Would it be possible for you to pm me information on the Level-d 767 and Posky merge?

  • No POSKY here ....this is the CLS 762 with LVLD 767.

  • here we go, and once more a winner....hum, Eddie, you gotta watch for the "anti-monopoly" commission ;)

  • what a beautiful landing..loved the video...thank you

  • Beautiful landing and panel. Thankyou very much Ed! 5*.

  • Nice

  • If you were a real pilot, I'd be proud.

  • Very kind of you to say so. Thankyou.

  • heyy edetroit, could u give me some advice on how to get the game to run as smoothly as yours, and to get the graphics really good without slowing down the game. thanx

  • The smoothness really came down to buying a new rig. Here are my specs:

    Win-XP 32bit, FS9.1, Coolermaster Cosmos S ATX, 2 x Zalman 120MM fans , Kingwin Modular 800W, Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 CPU overclocked to 4.0 Ghz per core, 2 x Corsair 2GB PC8500 DDR2, 1000GB HD, IGb Nvidia GTX 285 (186.18 drivers plus NHancer), Creative Labs X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1 Sound Card, Viewsonic VP2130b 21.3" LCD

  • nice video. I love the FT scenery

  • impressive.

  • Absolutely brilliant mate, will any of your cockpits ever be avalible?
