  • I always wanted to fuck Ellen from Adventures Of Pete and Pete.

  • @holsterboy166 lol she had a really nice face

  • I keep typing this song in every few months just to see if there's any new videos on it. I really don't understand how it never picked up. Such a great song. The bridge/outro is the only part that's not catchy.

  • i want to live in the 90s and never leave :D

  • Probs? lol do you like men. dont answer that and maybe i did miss what ever point you were trying to make(like i give a shit) but My point is very easy to understand and realize and that is...Go fuck yourself douchebag

  • @cacnd420 LMFAO

  • " he's taking all his back home, and destroying what remains. "

"hoping that the end will start it all again"

Never been more true...this time we'll get it right

  • @mike3514 are you sure people with intentions with bad judgment will get a second chance?

  • @dotheevolution100 with good intentions and bad judgment*

  • The wait's over.

  • Why can't be there again? Artie help me!

  • Vhshitfest brouht me here.

  • It lyrics confuse me a little, but it's one of my fauvorite songs in the world.

  • @nicolasverdi It's about the end of the world according to the bible.

  • @DoctorAtomic1111 yep it is... soon, and when paradise comes, i want to be able to listen to a discman.

  • These guys are really good :o

    <3

  • Polaris, Guided by Voices, Magnetic Fields, and even mainstream bands like R.E.M. defined brilliant 90's music. These guys were "indie" before indie was even a genre.

  • RAPTURE!

  • Polaris on YouTube and all . . . is PIPE!

Thanks for posting, my little vikings!

  • media cares more about looks and image more these days than musical ability.

  • This song makes feel like sitting under a big oak tree and thinking about better days in the fall....

  • I'm trying to learn this song, but the rhythm of the singing is hard to get down. >_<

  • Polaris and Miracle Legion just go together.

  • @MiracleLegion Because they're the same band...

  • @CordyBear1 No not exactly Mr. Ray Refused to perform with Mark Mulcahy and the rest and so the band took the alias Polaris. Interestingly Mr. Ray appears in the episode of Petes favorite song, but never recorded with Mark for the tv series. They go together because of Marks sweet voice.

  • you found the earth

  • @ the last few posts - The first two season are indeed on Amazon. I have them and the shows are just as good, if not better, then they were when I was growing up.

  • I even heard that season 3 of pete and pete isn't going to be released on dvd, so its like you can get the first two seasons but you cant finish the set. i think all of of 90's kids should go to viacom studios or whatever it is and tell them what time it is.

  • They need to put Pete and Pete on DVD!

  • @HookedOnSonics518 Pete and Pete is out on DVD but good luck finding them they have the first 2 seasons but the 3rd one isn't coming out. you you can get an uncomplete series. I think Amazon has the seasons.

  • @MasterShake7448 You can download most of the third season via torrents. I have almost every episode. It's so friggin sad though that they won't release them on dvd. I swear, the people in charge are either brainless monkeys or they are just plain evil...

  • @HookedOnSonics518 It already there on Amazon

  • Polaris, one of the bands that made me get my groove on to their music besides the usual hip hop artist. Hey I know I'm black, but I can enjoy other music like this can I? Anyway pete and pete were awesome episode to watch. I got to get the DVD of those shows

  • Hello GUBLERNATION :B

  • Amazing how great the pop media was in the 90's. TV shows like pete and pete, the music associated with them....we get complete crap today. Maybe the world really DID end in 99...metaphorically speaking of course LOL

  • you're right :(

  • @OrangeSummerBand MAN, YESTERDAY I WAS TAKING A SHIT WHILE LISTENING TO THIS SONG AND I THOUGHT EXACTLY THE SAME.

  • @OrangeSummerBand The grass wasn't that fuckin green this is just some special "timeless" shit that happened to occur during the 'times" you speak of. It now seems that everyone who was a kid in the 90's is an absolute whiny bitch about how good it was then.

  • @infinidominion There's nothin' wrong with takin' a trip down memory lane every now and then.

  • @infinidominion Lol did you kno that your comment got 0 thumbs up!You Fail, Your preachin to the wrong crowd! the 90's were awesome and i would love to take a time machine back to it and Meet Kurt Cobain and listen to the whole Grunge scene that was big and maybe even throw some old school hip-hop in there and see Alice in Chains! Live and Watch all the good Nickelodeon shows Pete and pete, Ren and stimpy, are you afraid of the dark etc. While Smoking a Joint with a bottle of Wild Turkey

  • @cacnd420 you don't even realize what I was getting at... remove yourself from your worthless wild turkey and weed and maybe it'll increase your thinking capacity....probs not tho. go suck Kurt's rotted dick

  • @OrangeSummerBand i agree

  • @OrangeSummerBand

The late 90's were pretty awful dude, it was the parts of the decade before that which were great.

  • @Darkiver Yea i'd say so. IDK, i liked 1996-1998. But 1999 is when it started to suck balls....two: Britney Spears

  • @Darkiver

Agreed, I was born in 86, started watching nick in 91/92. Even as a little snot-nosed kid, I noticed nick slipping after 96. As told by Ginger, Wild Thornberries, and the live actions shows paled in comparison to early 90s nick Rocko, Ren&Stimpy, Doug, and the live action goodness.

  • @OrangeSummerBand Same thing everybody says about every single generation.

  • The song seems to be related to billy graham, an evangelistic preacher who spoke about the end of the world ('billy didn't tell you everything"). Graham did a 'crusade' in central park, I am wondering if that's why polaris is talking about when they say 'look at him he's shouting at the gates'. Great song! I love the weird hidden meanings in polaris songs (hey sandy-about kent state?)

  • the wait is over, by 10 years to this day!

  • Great song 5 stars!!!

  • Love this music reminds me of my childhood

  • Great Song i love Pete & Pete and Polaris Sons

  • Best use of this song during the credits in that episode when young Pete digs his way out to freedom on the 4th of July. By far one of the best Pete & Pete episodes ever.

  • YEAH!!! FOND MEMORIES!!!

First heard this on Pete and Pete!

  • Buy the first three seasons, best purchase I ever mad.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • y the hell did these jerkweeds....stop airing pete and pete after the third season.....

    doz bastards man........

  • Because Nickelodeon are ghey

  • because they were banned from filimg in new jersey pretty much.

  • i say boycott jersey then

  • Really? For what reason?

  • wait theres a soundtrack i gots to get me that

  • Why does every clip I watch on Utube have comments about Christianity below when they have absolutely no reference to Christianity? I can only assume Christians have too much time on their hands.

  • "It all ends in 1999 and commences on the 28th" - this is a reference to some guy who preached that the world was going to end on October 28th, 1999. No direct reference to Christianity, but it's definitely pertinent subject-matter for Christians.

  • I think this might have been within a day or so of the 70th anniversary of the stock market crash of '29.

  • Comment removed

  • Why MLB never jumped on this song is beyond me... you'd think they would have taken the chorus and set it to Playoff commercials....

  • The best song of the album for me. And great great album by the way.

  • im always waiting for october, just wish i could skip winter

  • He's talking about the return of Jesus. Jow awesome! But what's this 1999 date he's settled with? lol

  • christians are always obsessed with supposed dates when the rapture will happen. they are always wrong. what a surprise

  • Yeah...um...not all are buddy.

  • With a whole religion based on the destruction of life it's no wonder they would.

Hell, they even impose their beliefs onto different things and dates as their own to determine the time of the rapture. e.g. 2012.

  • LOL... too bad the 2012 thing is not Christian or Rapture related in any way.

Nice try at a bash though!

  • No. There is no imposing going on by Christians in the 2012 theory. That is just paranoia developed from various angles.

And It's not a "Mayan belief of a new change in cylce." - Its just the end of the original Mayan calendar. And the ONLY reason they end it there, is because that completed their cycle. With the amount of work that they had to put into that first accurate calendar, they obviously would have chosen to leave future revisions to later generations of Mayans.

  • You think your comment here is somewhat witty. Well, to be honest, it's not. It's completely contradictory.

Very FEW "Christians" will ever claim a specific date as the return day of Christ. And when certain Christians DO claim a certain date, they are ridiculed by other Christians, as it is the common Christian belief / biblical principle that it is impossible for any man to know the true date of the Rapture.

In saying they are always wrong, well, you are right! and Christians will agree.

  • well if you read the bible it says no man will know the end of days.

  • Comment removed

  • i dont think the band seriously believed that was the "day"... they were just making allusions to the fact that Billy Graham allegedly claimed that the world would come to an end on October 28, 1999

  • @foolsonparade If you read the bible, it also implies the earth is flat and pork is evil, who gives a fuck about some stone age belief system. It's 2010.

  • hate to disappoint all these ranters below, but it's NOT about jesus or the second coming, it's about a weird preacher guy who mulcahy saw in central park.... read the lyrics.

  • so long ago (5th grade) when I had this cassete tape. I loved that show saw it everyday. the other dweebs at school watched ninja turtles. RockOn!

  • just the one album

  • I love this song. Polaris is GREAT!! :)

  • Is polaris a real band? I heard that it was just a project for the pete and pete show. Well whether they're for real or not, they kick ass!

  • Yeah, Polaris is a real band.

Polaris was just a little name change that Miracle Legion used on the show. The other 3 out of 4 members are straight from that band. Miracle Legions drummer was left out in favor of another drummer (although, I don't know why).

  • proud owner of every pete & pete episode, complete pete & pete soundtrack, plus polaris soundtrack :P

  • Anyone who's interested, you can watch almost all the episodes of Pete and Pete on Veoh

  • what is veoh?

  • What is google?

  • What's YouTube?

  • What's in the bowl, bitch?

  • What!

  • Fags at Veoh blocked IPs from my country last year out of commercial grounds. Can't do that no more.

  • men i love this group and obviously pete & pete,, really miss that program and all the 90s programs of nickelodeon jeje

  • i can give you the CD, i`ve got one:-) would you like to have it?

  • you speak better than some people that CAN speak english :)

  • I have the song summerbaby^^

  • Where the heck can I find this? I have to have it :D

  • The vocal part at about 1:30 ish when it slows down is probably one of the best examples of exactly why this band is who they are.

  • who knows the name of the song of youngest pete?

  • Little pete's favorite song is called Summerbaby, by Polaris.

Anyone know where I can download this song, though?

  • Check out the lyrics in the info box.

  • why MLB never used this song for the playoffs is beyond me.

  • i love this song rember me of nickoleon 90s

I love this band and this is my favorite song on the album

  • I think it's "And that's when human history will die."

  • brought back memories. pete&pete was great.

  • polaris is just such a great band to go along with one of the greatest shows that will ever air on nickelodeon. Noone can dispute this because its a fact.

  • I agree. Pete and Pete was great and sadly they don't make kids shows like that anymore. And Polaris fit perfectly with that show...AGREED INDEED

  • When I used to work at Blockbuster, I would play the DVDs. A guy came in and started raggin on it, and none of the employees wanted to check him out after that...

  • this is so great :)

  • Pete and Pete is now on DVD in the Nickelodeon rewind collection.

  • I would go and buy it, but I am boycotting Viacom as they have just won legal action on YouTube forcing them to disclose User ID's and IP addresses of all YouTube members that have watched their copyrighted material on YouTube.I am understand them wanting to protect their property, but why go after us as well ! - We didn't post these videos. F Them, Boycott Viacom !

  • I know really, they want to fuck over the fans of these shows that haven't been on in like 10 years. Its not like they are losing money from these shows being on youtube. greedy bastards

  • god Id wish They would replay this show It kicked ass now Nick just sucks badly hah
