I tried amp-delay-ns2-dist metal muff-reverb with out send return conection and my noise supresor dn quite the noise of the distortion dunno why hope you can help me thanks
To furlong2669: I sure have -- and it doesn't sound bad at all when put in the proper line... think about it: what did the great players do BEFORE amps with send/returns/db noise ratio function (ex. Marshall plexi's, etc.) and the convenience of the NS-2's send/return? I think you misunderstood what I was saying about a week ago, my friend... and it looks like 1969atam and I are on the same page. Put your amp in a closet, hang all your clothes over the speakers, close the door: NOISELESS!
Delays and Reverbs are NOT supposed to be put in the loop section (SEND/RETURN) -- it will kill them for sure... send those mentioned units through the OUTPUT/INPUT sections (from AMP - DELAY - NS2 OUTPUT - NS2 INPUT - GUITAR or other instrument) -- this is your quietest option -- I know... I use a lot of pedals through loud, hissing Marshalls and this has worked well for me. Good luck!

The NS-2 uses an intelligent circuit to differentiate between the sound of the guitar and noise. The NF-1 simply cuts all sound when it became weaker than a threshold value. The NS-2 attempts to let the sound of the guitar through while removing the noise :)
@neo69hk It kills the sustain more and more when you push the treshold higher, it will kill any delay so when I use a delay I turn it off. It only kills the noise when you stop playing. To be quite honest I think it was a waste of my money...

@1958marky wrong, have you ever tried using overdrive with delays and reverbs that are going straight into the amp???

@neo69hk yes it does try to pay attention to what is discussed here and maybe we dont need to buy another noise supressor XD
