This is a joke compared to the original. Howard's voice makes Doc Dart (of the Crucifucks) sound like a song bird. It is weird, but the so is the original, as-well as being creepy and beautiful all at once. Only Lydia"s voice saves this from total failure . I don't think i'll be listening to this version again. Just my opinion.

Dave here. I need no instructon on musical taste. Where I've been in a position to select the music in a public arena, I've almost always been complimented on my good taste. He still sounds drunk to me and she sounds slightly off key. I know the mythological origin of the lyrics. Nancey Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood did a great job with this song, as they did with other songs, such as "Ladybird." I'm with baddogg62 on this one.
