Augusta is like most other mid-sized cities with a sizable "poor" population. Some of the town is ghetto and I wouldnt be caught their after 8 o'clock...the other side of town is..well.."The Master's" Golf tournament area. Then suburbs like Columbia County are reall nice. It's all about what particular area you in. Augusta as a city isnt a Compton or Camden, NJ when it comes to crime...but you better believe certain parts of town are "similar"
