IM getting this same camera but if you have a pc that is say 8 yrs old like mine it doesnt have the firewire inputs, so I had to order the 1394 pci card which has the inputs. You have to insert it into the mother board. Maybe I will end up upgrading my pc one of these days. Its ancient.

Well, you needa get firewire you can find em on ebay for the cheapest but you can research it alittle more then what im gonna tell you but you have to capture it and depending how old your computer is you might need to download a capturing progam as for how much the tapes cost, i have no idea my mom bought a ton at costco a couple years ago and i just re use one or two tapes

@yoshii00 i had the same problem so i went on ebay and found a cheap firewire port for like 10 bucks and all you have to do is plug it in to the open ports on the back of your computer
