  • fuck you they can all drown

  • How about huge pump out water for 1500 litre per second? Can it help by pump out water few miles away from the area?

  • bv206 är helt underbar att åka/köra

  • heh heh nyc stuff

  • Sweden is the true helper in the word *nods*

  • Can your girly Audi A4 do this huh?

  • Absolutely genuine respct for them fellas, especially when they drove them things out to sea, they had no idea how deep it was and if another wave would come.

  • Dude, it's amphibious. Depth doesn't matter :)

  • sorry m8 but my mum works for the man who owns them at jtl and i sometimes ride in those exact ones when they are back in britan and i can tell u that thay can only float in shallow water,we too it to a resivour once and it had to get towed out as it went too deep

  • Hi, sorry mate. Ur wrong. Either those are bad Bv206's . But i am in the army here in Bardufoss in Norway. We got the same type with 3 l engine. 130 hp Turbocharged. And they can swim. The water dont need to be shallow.

  • it got a fiberglass body that floats everywhere, it's totally amphibious. Look it up if u don't believe me. I've drove these things for years in the swedish home guards, we go over lakes and rivers no matter how deep - its floating! ;)

  • You always have to check the drain plugs are watertight in front AND rear body before swimming!!!

Always fold up mudflaps before enter terrain to prevent damage...

...fold down before swimming - otherwise the tracks can't drive the vehicle forward...

And the early version Ford V6 powered needed the huge fuel tanks... at 3mph swim... or 50mph on the highway... :-) errrmm... not allowed rpm...

  • @sniperdisco1 Hmmm...sounds weird. when i did my service in the Swedish infantery back in 1985 we crossed rivers, lakes without any problems and i can assure you that those waters were deep.

  • fuck !!!!

  • The Primary school i used to go to when i was younger is on what used to be an Army estate, and every year they used to bring a BV 206 to the Summer Fair and give rides around the school field for 50p each, It was that that made the most money! Its an awesome machine. Hard to believe it can be slung underneath a Chinook heicopter aswell if it needs to be taken anywhere in a hurry!

  • is the trailer motorised ???

  • yes

  • Hm, nice video, but at least on this video it drives where any other 4WD could drive too. so what was the purpose of all the effort then, to help people or to promote the vehicle??

  • can a 4WD swim, and with that i mean floating and carry 17 people with gear

  • Um, I highly doubt many other vehicles could trek that territory. Not to mention its not a 4WD vehicle - it uses tracks. A HMMVEE would have gotten stuck the first time it came across mud. Look at the HMMVEE in Afghanistan, its practically useless.

  • One of my High school buddies is over in Afganistan right now with the Canadian Army special forces and he says you either Walk, or Chopper where you are needed.

The terrain is too rugged for the average Humvee.

  • i would not mind how much petrol i uses its soo cool and the best atv ever i think

  • WOW SO AWE

    SOME

  • We use those vehicles in finnih army. They move great in snow, swamp, sand, deepwater. Only drawback is, that in deep its slow and tracks can come off if you drive it on rocky areas. It drinks petrol like a madman too.

  • Looks like a serious mission, is there a full documentary about it?

  • awesome machines, is there anywhere they won't go?
