Heavy rain sold 500k in 2 months and 1 million in about 5, it's had lots of marketing with show ups at E3 08 and 09, so it had hype around it, the game didn't sell well so don't say it accomplished something by selling a terrible amount of copies, come on, Red Dead Redemption sold 5 million in 2 months, MW2 sold 7 million on day one (even though the game sucked).
