Hello Drakomal55, I just got back from the Himalaya's a few weeks ago. Most of my planning came from reading blogs from other motorcyclists on advrider.com.. helpful books are Enjoying India, Lonely Planet, and Bicycling thru the Himalayas... Video coming soon!
U should a gone to dead horse great job with the video
we did about 12000 Km but trailed the bike to canmore alberta from montreal 4 dayz each way so the biking was a similar amount. we'll just go around quebec and such this summer.

hairdai, fasteddie from n c ive ridden t o, alaska 7 times in the last 9 years. your video is fantastic. im leaving n c june 14 for number 8 ive seen your video at least 100 times an i grin from ear to ear every time i c it. bmw r 1200 gsa will ride 14000 miles in 19 days. alberta bc yukon cant get enough of it
trips like that one is more contagious then tattoos! thanks for watching... I have a few other videos that of my travels to Italy and Zion... Btw, what is Toe Cutter?
I envy you man. What kind of budget did you set for the ride, and did you stick with it? I was originally planning a trip to south america or Alaska most likely Ill take a trip to Alaska because of time and weather constraints. I will be mainly camping or staying in hostels/cheap motels (when too cold to camp).
can't really remember my buget.. but I did go over it! I camped out mostly and barely ate at any resturants. I had an un expected bill before I left on the trip that made me tighten my belt a bit! right now planning a moto trip thru the himalayans.. good luck!
Pleaseeeeeee!!!! I need everything means advice and tips. I planning to move my motorcycle from Puerto rico to Miami at the end of August, to start a trip from Miami to Alaska. At the moment , I'm doing this alone. Any tips you will give me , will be appreciated.
