  • she's such a sweetheart :')

  • The lack of an accent doesn't give someone a "Mid-Western accent". It means they speak English correctly.

  • @frizlefry And here I thought English was made in England, Silly me.

  • @eafanboyssuck Henry Ford invented the assembly line but the Japanese perfected it. You may be silly but you don't have a point.

  • @frizlefry are you talking assembly line or automated assembly line..?

  • @TheDrakenZ It's merely an example of something being invented somewhere and refined somewhere else.

  • @frizlefry thats the world... and it didnt answer my question because one implements robotics where as the other is strictly run off of human labour...

  • @TheDrakenZ Automotive assembly lines employ BOTH human and robotic labor and that has been the case to varying degrees for a long time. My comment was in reference to US manufacturers having to learn from the Japanese to overhaul their factories to be competitive in 70s and 80s. The term "assembly line" is encompassing of either type of labor. You are making a false distinction between human and robotic labor and quite frankly are being a massive troll.

  • @frizlefry I said one implements robotics, where as the other is strictly human labours, i didnt say one was strictly robotics, i said they IMPLEMENT ROBOTICS. I'm not being a massive troll. I wouldnt be giving you relatively intelligent responses if i were trying to troll. I would probably be doing something along the lines of "ur stupid trololololol"

  • @frizlefry You should of said: "In North America, Mid-western Accent..." Just as someone from say, Australia, the UK or whatever may think their "accent" is correct. I speak in a "Mid-Western" accent myself, but I do not think it is the correct way, nor the the wrong way, it is a way. Don't be so egocentric.

  • @eafanboyssuck The reason the Mid-Western accent is used by newscasters and announcers such as this lady is that it's known linguistic fact it has the least mispronunciations and colloquial idiosyncrasies. It's the closest to neutral dictionary English. It has nothing to do with anyone's ego. Why Mid Western NA English? The US' economic importance. Just like when French used to be the global language. Political correctness is not a substitute for facts.

  • @frizlefry Either you are really conceited or ignorant about this issue. In England. their newscasters speak in a British accent, not North American. This announcer lady speaks in AMERICA.Just as you don't hear an accent, the British don't hear one either. Accent is something you learn from a society. If everyone from that society talks the same way, there is no accent. To them the MIdwestern accent is an accent... It's not PC to think from other people's perspective. :/

  • @eafanboyssuck You are incapable of actual argument and resort to personal insults at every turn. You are the typical lowest common denominator lurking on youtube. THE STORY SAYS PLAINLY THE WOMAN'S VOICE IS USED In 200 AIRPORTS. That means it's used in other countries EVEN ONES WITH PRIMARILY BRITISH ACCENTS. Why is that? Because of the facts I have already told you which you are intent on ignoring. You have no idea what you don't know and want to argue to the end about it. Go back to school.

  • @frizlefry What country did she voice for that used a British accent?

  • @frizlefry There is nowhere that has a "lack of an accent"

  • @Nestashio That is true in a roundabout way. The lack of accent means it is Mid-Western U.S. speaker. It's common knowledge that "accent" has the least mispronunciations and colloquial idiosyncrasies. News anchors and announcers who's job function it is to be absolutely clear and precise in the spoken word use a "Mid-Western" accent. Calling it that is just a PC effort to make people who haven't bothered to learn pronunciation feel better about what rolls of their tongues.

  • her mouth looks like Majel Barrett-Roddenberry ... lwaxana troi from star trek and computer voice for almost all star treks

  • I am so glad I found this, esp being in many of the US airports and hearing her making the announcements. ;-)

  • I want her to read me a bedtime story.

  • @HaligonianType1 Ah, you're from Nova Scotia too! nice.

And I'd rather Samuel L Jackson read me a bedtime story lmao

  • @HaligonianType1 NOVA SCOTIE PRIDE!

  • God bless her

  • She's in like every airport!
