  • worst [touchdown / FG good[ sgnals ever

  • what network was this on?

  • Speak of the gambler. I just heard last week Schlicher was indicted or arrested for some kind of illegal scheme. In Canada, he played for my favorite team, the Ottawa Rough Riders, and a teammate later said an hour after being introduced, Art asked him to borrow money. I wonder how his record compares to Denny McClain? His police record that is.

  • So the 19-0 fiasco was in Woody Hayes' last season of 1978, then. Thanks.

  • Always liked Brain Baschnagel

  • one person is a michigan fan

  • Penn State had to wait for 1979 for revenge. Art Schlicher threw a boatload of

interceptions and the Buckeyes were shut out on their own field, 19-0. That

    was Earle Bruce's first game.

  • @sportshistorybuff actually Bruce didn't start till the next season but it was Schlicher's first start.

  • Buckeyes helmets look different, maybe not as many Buckeye nuts. There was

also a black stripe on the helmet in the 1970's which I'm not sure is still worn.

  • Penn State-Ohio State is an under appreciated Border War

  • Here's another border war

  • Penn St had been trying to schedule a game with OSU for yrs; I believe this was the 1st in that era.

  • aside from the turf, based on the uniforms you cant tell if the game was 1975 or 2005. . .classic uni's.

  • @olzawski ---u have to love Penn State's bland road uniforms----all white, no stripes or names on back. Just that simple and plain, but classic ground attack football.

  • This was my 1st game in the Shoe !!! Sat in B-Deck behind the PSU band and a concrete pillar in front ..

  • Ray Scott worked for Penn State on syndicated TV replays from 1975-1981. During that time, ABC had the exclusive right to national and regional NCAA football telecasts, but schools could broadcast games locally if they were sold out.

  • It had to have been a syndicated game. Even if Ray Scott had still been with CBS in 1975, CBS did not have any part of the NCAA package at that time. In '75 national football regular season broadcasts would have been the exclusive province of ABC.

  • I would give anything to go back in time and see this live lol

  • Pryor is going to become more deadly

  • 3:33 What? No penalty?

Cornelius Greene has to have been the most dangerous QB ever at OSU.

  • The audio is fantastic on this one. Love the crowd noise crescendo on the big plays.

  • Ray Scott is calling the game, but he had already left CBS after 1974. Was this a game carried by the MIZLOU network or some other syndicated outfit?

  • First Ohio State game I ever attended--looks like the WOSU feed. Have the program and ticket stub framed on my wall. Game played September 20, 1975.

  • I grew up SoCal, so my first game was the '82 Holiday Bowl...I barely remember it. Wish I had done what you did though....still got my 03 Fiesta Bowl tix framed though ; )

  • Excellent video as usual. Thanks for all your work posting these. Nice touch leaving the original audio in there.
