Great video. Very detailed. I didnt know the fps lowers in darker rooms. i guess its due to the processor having to do extra work to brighten it up. im not camera wiz so im not sure.

Actually its because the camera has to increase the exposure time for each frame (wait longer for more light to record) to brighten up the picture.

A video camera's sensor might be of higher quality, and also larger.

A bigger and better sensor means more area to catch light and better sensitivity in that area, so it doesn't need as long to capture the same amount of light.

That would in turn allow it to capture better video at higher frame rates.

Just one comment. Not a good idea to point any camera at the sun. Remember, the video camera lens is a magnifying glass. It will burn the image sensor.
