Gladiador es una gran producción que no pierde ritmo en ningún momento, aunque, como muchas veces sucede en este tipo de películas, los hechos históricos y muchos detalles de la época están "retocados" para hacer un guión y una experiencia visual más atractivos. Si has estado en Roma, creo que la escena en la que aparece por primera vez el Coliseo te habrá impactado como a mí, como muchas otras del film.

Realmente, no conozco otra banda sonora para denominarla como "mejor banda sonora de todos los tiempos"

La música sigue perfectamente todos los acontecimientos de la película, y creo qeu Hans Zimmer es, sino el único, uno de los pocos que lo consigue, como Vangelis quizá.

Además consigue que te metas de lleno en la película, todavía más si cabe...

Sin duda Vangelis contribuyó para que Blade Runner sea una de las películas de culto más apreciadas. Su música te atrapa desde el primer golpe de percusión y los efectos de sonido que acompañan el texto inicial. Desde allí ya no deja empujarte hasta el final. Otra de las características de esta banda sonora es la limpieza de los sonidos.

Con respecto a la música de Hans Zimmer, creo que es Lisa Gerrard quien contribuye para que la historia Gladiator provoque las emociones más significativas. Por supuesto que Zimmer es un gran compositor y ha hecho bandas sonoras destacables, pero a diferencia con Vangelis, su música es, a veces, atropellada y poco clara; esto se puede apreciar en las escenas de guerra o lucha.

Qué casualidad, ambas son grandes películas y están dirigidas por Ridley Scott.

@gusbracchi mmmm si, posiblemente Lisa contribuya, pero a mi parecer, no tanto.

Me explico, si bien es cierto que a todos se nos ha escapado alguna que otra lagrima con Gladiator gracias a ese ambiente que Lisa ayuda a formar, un año más tarde, en Man on Fire, no consiguió retransmitir la misma sensación, no a mi, por lo menos.

De modo, que no creo que sea ella la pieza clave en quien reside la contribución a esas emociones. Hans Zimmer subo sacarle mucho juego, pero no Gregson Williams.

Zimmer y Gerrard son compositores. Cuando dos grandes como estos se reúnen para crear una obra, dudo de que uno le diga al otro cómo debe componerla; sería una falta de respeto.

Gerrard canta en glosolalia, por lo que es imposible que alguien le dé el texto o la melodía de su interpretación, ya que esto nace del sentimiento transmitido por, en este caso, el argumento del film.

Imposible comparar estas películas y sus directores, que, son hermanos, pero sus carreras y talento son muy diferentes.
