i made something like this but much cheaper with duct tape string a rock an old spool and some hook when I was 9 years old also some lego blocks and held together with some hot glue and super glue :D
man you cant catch a (medium size or a big)fish with that type of reel...you need to have breaksin order to bring the fish well hooked and safe back to you...anyway you can fish with a fishing float and a small hook (no14) good job
@fishthunder345 Why not? A guy caught a togue with a tenkara rod, which has no reel. It was a glorified cane pole essentially. People catch big fish off of jig poles with no reels. He could potentially catch medium sized fish with it, it just won't be as effective or versatile.
its a good idea, but....... its not a pole if it has a reel. The whole point of a pole is that it has no reel. nice reel btw . Also if its going to be a pole needs to be longer
