It has some nice changes (though not the character portraits), additions and redrawn backgrounds, but the fatal flaw about this game is that six buttons of control are crammed into two.

For being an advanced system over Game Boy Color, Nintendo sure is retarded for giving the Game Boy Advance only two buttons when it should have been at least four. They think in terms of action, adventure and RPG games, but they don't really give a thought for fighting games.
