I'm a lucky child :P my lashes are naturally long, curly, and thick. i think my eye doctor said i have 3 rows of eyelashes when normally people only have 1-2 XD so i've never really had a need for mascara

Thank you so much! I use that metal comb after applying mascara. It is still a real challenge to get the clumps out, especially with the waterproof. It never occurred to me to do it that way. This is a great trick for us older women in my opinion. The mascara, if not applied well, can make us look older.

I usually have a problem with wild lashes. Especially on the lateral ends of my eye. I would comb from the top as if to comb the back lashes I may have missed combing the front side. & then apply mascara on them and comb again from the top or the back lashes. I curl first, then use waterproof mascara and a plastic Ardell brand eyelash comb and it works beautifully. But--I gotta say this looks amazing. Gonna try it soon.
