@songkona He does seem very youthful and since Jerry was born in March 1926 and his first son Gary was born in July 1945 he became a father when he was quite young.
Jerry himself seems to be eternally young at heart.
@songkona I first heard "This Diamond Ring" on a pirate (illegal) radio station in Dublin, Ireland in 1965. I didn't know that it was by Gary Lewis and the Playboys until I saw this movie on television many years later! Jerry would have been about 39, and Gary 19 when this movie was made. I was 17 in 1965...

And kinda wacky, in the sense that Jerry seems so eternally young, and definitely doesn't appear old enough in this film to have a teenage son! :)
