@84ndman Yes, I go to school. But I also have a job, that pays for my sons daycare. I was out of school for the first month he was born, but I also continued to do online classes. He is now 1 month and 2 weeks, and he goes to daycare, that I PAY FOR. My parents barely help with my kid. I may only be a freshman in high school, but I am a good mother, and I know it. I spend 18 hours in a day being there with my son, holding him and feeding him, changing him and doing whatever he needs.

I got pregnant when I was 16 and had my her just before my 17th birthday. Me and the father are still together and we are moving into our own house at the end of the year. I got my GDE when I found out I was pregnant and I am now at uni studying to become a vet and Im working as an equestrian instuctor. I also go around to different schools and tell my story. @84ndman there is no cycle when it comes to teenage mums. my mum had me at 16, i am now 22 with a DEGREE, teaching science in a secondary school and have my own home with my boyfriend. My mum is also a teaching assistant in a primary school. We are 2 very successful women that came from an unfortunate situation.
anyone can make a life for themselves if they really want to.

Sorry but the statistics dont lie, the numbers dont lie. I dont care about your situation, it has been shown that if your a teen mom then there is a high percentage that your child will become a teen parent. That statistically your child will have a higher chance be less successful in life than others. Sorry but there is a cycle when it comes to teen pregnancies.

So they damn well knew that there was a good chance of me having a baby. And you know what, I love sex, its fun and it feels great. @84ndman Yes, I go to school. But I also have a job, that pays for my sons daycare. I was out of school for the first month he was born, but I also continued to do online classes. He is now 1 month and 2 weeks, and he goes to daycare, that I PAY FOR. My parents barely help with my kid. I may only be a freshman in high school, but I am a good mother, and I know it. I spend 18 hours in a day being there with my son, holding him and feeding him, changing him and doing whatever he needs.

The only reason she believes having a kid young is better than old is because she had a kid at a very young age. Also she was talking about patience, to me the younger people have a lot less of this than older people. Plus when your younger you are most likely relying on more outside help, most likely her parents or his or even both. So yeah she could have more patience what with probably not having to raise your child as much as a older person.

Birth control raised my chances of becoming pregnant because it evened out my hormones.
When not on Birth control, doctors said there was no way for me to get pregnant...i got on it and three months later i was pregnant

I got pregnant when I was 16 and had my her just before my 17th birthday. Me and the father are still together and we are moving into our own house at the end of the year. I got my GDE when I found out I was pregnant and I am now at uni studying to become a vet and Im working as an equestrian instuctor. I also go around to different schools and tell my story. I love my life and my daughter and my boyfriend I wouldnt change it for anything!!
