Decently edited, kind of uncohesive but what really kills it for me is the music. It just doesn't work at all. It's clearly supposed to be a dreary and dark video, but the music is incredibly upbeat.

Probably not, since one's a Fox production and the other is Universal.
I'd bet that good chunk of the crew from BSG is probably working on the Caprica prequel.
