I am a sixty year old Stones fanatic and I love this version. Well done cover versions are a plus for everyone; old songs are given new life and the old groups are honored by the young musicians. Younger listeners are exposed to some of the old classics and old folks are introduced to new, younger musicians. Everyone wins.

I'm surprised how positive all the comments for this song are. Honestly, I think the guitar is severely lacking compared to the Stone's rendition. I think Puddle of Mudd is really out of their breadth trying to cover one of the best bands of all time here. All the soul and subtlety of the guitar and vocals are completely lost from this version. Don't get me wrong, I don't have any problem with Puddle of Mudd generally speaking, but they should have stayed away from this one imo.

Most covers seem to get a lot of hate because fans of the original band get anal. I'm not even a fan of Puddle Of Mudd and I love The Stones, but this is an amazing cover.

I normally don't hate on other peoples covers. For the most part when I hear one I think to myself "Clearly not as good as the original, not bad, just different."

This one however is just terrible. The music itself wasn't that bad, sounded ok at the intro right up until he started singing. His voice sounds completley uninspired. There is no feeling or emotion behind it, sounds like he's just reading poetry over music (very badly I might add) rather than singing.
