Adolf Hitler had a 1967 VOX Jaguar in his Bavarian mountain retreat that he played frequently between the years of 1943 and 1945. How this is possible you might ask? I dunno but before the end of the war, he telepathically transferred his talent to a young boy named Raymond and entrusted SS officer Littlegermanman to teach the boy in the early 50s when he would be old enough. This boy was Raymond Daniel Manzarek, who later became the great keyboardist of The Doors. Everything works out :)
You are my organ sister!! I do a show called Lorraine Bowen's Vital Organs! but it's about my cheesy Casio organ collection from 1980 to 1983! I love your video and your style! Fab!
(and who cares about such lame facts as weight and measures, a true combo organ afficionado would never exchange his or her 50 pounds of sound grandezza for some digital plastic)
I disliked this review of the relevant equipment and felt that it did not really do justice to the items that were inspected. Quite why this should be I do not know. However I will say this much - the woman doing the show was not perhaps as assiduous as she might well have been. Think, next time. Your viewers are quite keen to know more informative facts and opinions - such as overall size and weight. Yes, yes - I know you suggested one was quite heavy. But that is not ALWAYS enough.
'There's also this one but I dont know how it works' - followed by 2 minutes of her not quite making it work - I really laughed - 12 and a half out of ten well done
This is really funny though, and you bring up some great points about people not using organs. I don't like U2 or Oasis, or Hitler either. You got to use the organ!!!
That's a nice Vox but too say it's the best instrument ever made, even the best keyboard ever made is a bit much. A hammond makes this seem like a toy, all be it a pretty kick ass toy.
Elka 707/X705....Farfisa (Duo)Compact truely marvellous electronic organs :D Used by Jean Michel Jarre :) How much would an Elka 707/X705 cost today? Would love to get one.. between my Eminent 310 Unique and Yamaha CSY-2A :)
Haw!! I firmly agree. Bands that don't use organ are talentless shit knockers. The Hitler reference made me laugh my tits off! Awesome collection too!
Nice demonstration except that I think you are quite unjust to the ELKA X-707. The main difference between that and the other organs is that it is meant to be a one-man-band and not just a member of a beat orchestra.
Try and search for ISIDORO Y SU ORGANO ELKA
he plays an ELKA Super Artist 707 which is the console version of the X-707.
In this day and age of software (virtual) instruments, showing these classic instruments is freakin' excellent! The entertaining bits push this to 5 stars IMO. And the "gril in the vidoe" is indeed hot! (The one that says "M shall".) ;-) ~J/LBoP
fun..i enjoyed the various exaggerations and oversimplifications. in a way a lot of it is true though...
anyway this video was pretty cool just in the fact that we get to see (and hear, more importantly) both a vox and a farfisa and compare their sounds. i used to think i liked the farfisa sound better...but now im not sure....
@inkycartoons Are you mad? Everyone knows Hitler played a Wersi. He fooled everyone by wearing a fake beard and calling himself Klaus Wunderlich. He also wore sunglasses sometimes and called himself James Last. The first attack wave on Poland was Trombones. I should know, I studied history in California.

That Hitler never used an organ, and the beatles did, explains all.

the Hammoond has nothing on the Vox Continental...sorry there's just not contest. Hammond's just don't sound as good as the connie.

Thanks for this interesting video. The Hammond sounds like a huge waterfall compared to the thin tab water sound of the combo organs.

And you forgot Cream, The Police, all that punk stuff and so many other guitar bands - and I hate them all!

Very cheeky, Blodwyn. I, myself, have always prefered roses on my piano, and tulips on my organ; yours will do quite nicely. :-)

Factual error: I think you'll find Hitler did actually use a Hammond A100 during the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1939.
