Pretty good series. I watched it and it brought up some good information and also raised some great questions. I recommend it to any followers of Christ.
There is just something so phoney about these videos, and Del. The commentators seem real enough, however, Del gives some of us the appearance of just being an actor. He seems pushy, nad some of the things he says are not accurate, they are opinions of his. He does not know for a fact that we have evolved from apes or not, for one example.
@andredid Hi- Yes I have seem all the videos, in a study group. I feel, there is no shame if man evolved from apes, or not. We are accountable for our own time on Earth, regardless. We have our faith that God created man in his own image, however, how much time and evolvotion it took is what God is allowing us to discover. However. Creationists always seem to be racists and discriminatory. I believe Christ's message was to destroy any of that thinking.
As the way of all things, what effect do you suppose its question, knowledge, understanding and application by billions of persons will have on the state of global economics, science, the humanities, education, government and business?
.
The underlying law of nature is the most important subject any person can investigate and learn about, can proceed to understand, and can then come to personally apply in life.
That is beyond disgusting. That last thing he says shows how much Christianity is ani-human, instead wanting to brainwash you into believing you have no worth beyond bowing before god. What a mockery of the teaching of Christ. Pathetic, as is anyone who follows this.
o boy eyes of neurosis..youre falling into the trap of commenting on things you have no knowledge of. The Truth Project videos simply show a viewpoint without forcing it on anyone, or bashing anyone. And yet you respond with a negative bashing comment. I can understand your animosity towards some christians because you dont agree or think they are hypocrites, but you're argument lies with them, not this video. The last part shown is not devaluing humanity (actually most of the videos are ..
(cont'd) dedicated to showing the beauty and value of humanity and the world) but its actually showing that if any one person puts their full trust in any one other person, your understanding is going to be shallow..not because that person has no value, but because that person is limited to their experiences. No one person can know or understand the totality of the world, or the experiences therein.
go watch the video first before you make comments. he has a whole segment on the beauty of the identity of man. i highly recommend these videos for anyone.
Even though Christ is the King of Kings, he had so much humility that he allowed himself to be beaten beyond recognition and then crucified. Christianity is exactly the opposite of anti-human, his statement at the end is referring to how we need to put Christ and other people before ourselves. This world just has everything upside down, things are loved and people are used when things should be used and people should be loved.
@EyesofNeurosis I agree with you. Most Creationists I have met are very racist, and ignorant of science. They tell me they don't have to deal with science, because God makes everything. It is confusing to hear them call themselves Christian, and yet have such biased opinions.
I wonder when Focus on the Family is going to allow "The Truth Project" to be syndicated in whole on Youtube. If they don't want slanderous comments as extra junk, then they can prohibit them on the 'site'.Not only can people be easily persuaded by changing what they believe about their past, but the amount of that change reflects how deep towards the core of their worldview that change really is.
Honestly..as a christian or not, you'll like the videos a lot. They take into account the opinions of world scholars, religious leaders from every point of view and rather than bashing them down, they their viewpoint. Its a very mature, respective look at the Christian beliefs without all of the negative arguing and bickering you tend to see on sites like youtube (eyes of neurosis) I watched it with people of all sorts of beliefs and we all thought it was very interesting!

THE MOST FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION OF ALL:
.
What is the underlying law of nature.
