Do you think this is possible - turn 19, fly to Florida, buy a ford excursion v10, drive to San fransisco via route 66 then sell the excursion and fly back to the uk with 5 people with about 5000 dollars each?
Nice Vid. I like the opening sequence. Im in the process of working on my video, Calgary to Calgary two months 28000 kms. So much footage!! hopfuly it will be as good as yours.
@brocklebank2k Thanks kid...If you want to keep it cheap then rent a car that has excellent gas mileage. We had a Toyota Corolla that gave us 300 miles between $25 fill ups. Go for hotels outside of big cities because they are cheaper. Check out some American Indian sites along your way. The trip was great you'll have a blast, have fun.
@brocklebank2k Don't be afraid to go off....the beaten path. Take SOMW time to explore things. I once went on a road trip from Illinois to Maryland, stopped off at some local park in W. VA. and found some arrowheads.
@brocklebank2k The pirmary rule of ANYTHING in life.......HAVE FUN!!
Have fun.
Take some time to stop and just talk with people, thank a Servicemember, thank a trucker (many of whom are Vets), take time to enjoy the scenery (however it's spelled). I've done LOTS of traveling in LOTS of countries over 26 years.
Take time to have fun and take time to be grateful!
2 years ago my son and I flew from Norfolk Va. to San Diego, rented a u-haul filled it a drove back nearly the same route...It wa an awesome trip...We stooped at Nashville as well.
I watched that match, Manchester vs Barcelona, its funny to think that you guys were doing this trip then, i was on holiday in Spain at the time. Loved this video, waiting for the next one!
That's pretty cool. It was a good match, though Man U was only competitive during the first 20 minutes. You also probably saw it at nighttime which is way cooler than 3pm. : )
Thanks for taking a look at this, Maxwell. I just got back from a holiday at the lake so I'll have the 2nd day ready to go soon.

LOL At about the 58 second mark...'Still in Virginia.'
Try starting off in central Texas. To get to ANY border, it would be 'Still in Texas. 8 hours later.'

I wanna go on a road trip so badly, but...
I don't even have my license, and I'm sure my learner's permit isn't sufficient to get me out of my driveway, let alone across the country.

It was a great time and it's not that expensive if you have a car that gets good gas mileage.
I recommend it.
