  • music sounds like from the game who framed roger rabbit? it's the NES sound chip that doesn't allow for much variation. also i NEVER saw this game as a licensed game on the NES. is this a new release by the homebrew community?

  • The music in this game sound an awful lot like the music featured in the Nightmare On Elm Street game.

  • Fuck NES - play C-64!

  • shitty music compared to the c64 ver!

  • 6:24 "Kunitoki, the evil ninja GHOST"??? In the original he was a frigging Samurai, the ninja's enemy! Really LOL

  • Ghost ninja was truly hard to beat :P

  • the end music before the boss is so epic

  • When did they make this for nes? Never heard about it before! Where did they sell it?

  • this game reminds me alot of runescape classic... mostly the fighting... does it anyone else?

  • what a pathetic game!

  • thankce for this video !!!!!

  • never beat this game!! back then when me and my brothers playing it we ended up to the last boss.... man i hate that ghost ninja!!

  • Man!! Did any of you guys, played the AMIGA version of this game? Man, EGA!!! 3 colors!!! A long time ago...

  • How cute is the end :D

  • i still have no idea what the title "last ninja" means, and why a picture of the statue of liberty is on the screen.this is just another example of why nes ports make you go crazy

  • The Statue of Liberty is on the screen because Part 2 takes place in New York. Also, he is the Last Ninja because the rest of his clan was slaughtered in the first one. Do a little research before asking the questions.

  • in that time we don't have cut scenes, if you don't have the manual u don't know the history.

  • All he could have done was Googled it. It would have given him all the answers he needed.

  • In that time we don't have Google, internet and nothing of this...

Wen i say in that time i was talk about the time the game was made.

  • True, but your comment is kind of pointless. He asked a question in "this" time period, didn't he? Like I said, if he wanted to know the answer, he could have Googled it, since we do have the Internet and a tool called Search Engines in this day and age.

  • So i misunderstand

  • Ahh, so THAT'S what you had to do at the end; I thought you needed to hit the last boss with all 9 ninja stars without missing :P

Needless to say, I never finished this game, but now I can remember the haunting, droning final boss music. Egad!!!

  • The C64 version was much better than this. Especially the music.

  • I agree the music of this NES version is a disgrace!

  • @inphanta

True, Matt Gray really pushed the SID music chip to its absolutely limit. Even today it's amazing what they pulled off.

  • @inphanta Sure, the music sucks, but I'm afraid this one plays much smoother than the C64 one.

  • @tsuihark: This version doesn't draw each screen. That's it.

  • lol the music is awesome at the end battle...like the whole ln on nes lol. I wonder what the developer thought, when they played this one in comparison with the original C64 one..... I guess nothing, or the laughed a lot :)

  • lol the ending is psycho! the music is real creepy:p
