hah, great ending. this is a pretty weird situation at the end, though. boon's the other kid's mother's ex and her son's all hot and bothered for nathan. that would be a pretty weird family arrangement. how would you introduce the family? it's like, "I'm Boon, and this is my ex-girlfriend, her son, and his boyfriend, my not-yet adopted son" lmao. good movie, although the web of lies gets tedious toward the middle, and the dialogue often isn't written or delivered very well by the actors.

I appreciated the reference to Vancouver and the scenes on hastings. In a small way I could relate to this story. Boys have such a challenging road to travel becoming men. Hopefully that is changing. Hopefully men will remember who they really are - the strong gentle protector of innocense.

This film is extraordinary. The poor lad gets a dad, Boone is a real man, plus a mom, a brother and buddy. But talk about hard coming of age films, man that is a heartbreaker, but shows the good guys win. I know it sounds cliche:-)

Despite the tough life of this young boy, this movie brought tears to my eyes at the end. Really very moving film and story-line that some people will be able to identify with. I just hope and pray their "ending" was similar. Walsh is a very talented actor and the young Nadon does an excellent job. Thank you for posting this!

I actually think it's so sad to see such young kids involved with sex stuff. I mean, okay, they're not little angels anymore, they kinda know what they're doing... But somehow, they still don't.
