They played the entire 26 episodes on the Teletoon channel in Canada. I watched it all on there, and teletoon is a kids channel. They just played it later in the evening at around 8 or 9, that's all. o.O

i think The United States and Canada have slightly different views on what is suitable for children, and thus why you were able to see all episodes on a childrens channel... while us in the USA were only able to see maybe the first 1/4th of the series ebfore it was removed

adult swim, at the time, wasn't around. toonami was, but it wasn't the same station. toonami was on cartoon network, Escaflowne was playing on Fox Kids. =/

Don't bother with the movie. All it is, is basically the complete series (all 26 ep) all summed up in about an hour and a half and they even changed stuff from how it happened in the series! x.x

yeah, the most obvious is that the character designs are slightly different [clothing-wise], but if you were to put a picture from the movie next to a picture from the series, you can tell in the eyes that it's different artists. ^^

My friend hates their noses in the show. She calls Van's "Teh pointy nose of doom"... because I asked her to draw me a picture of Van XD And it took her forever to get his nose right apparently.

lol people have their own little turn offs with designs. for some people, it doesn't even matter what the design is like, as long as the story is interesting. but noses? lol i find that one a little funny. i try to draw mine with at least a little bit of a curve on the tip lol
